Your minutes matter. Every single one of them. And this podcast exists to help you use them with intention, energy, and a spark of joy. Your Productivity Pulse is where time management meets real life. Whether you are a small business owner trying to get more done without burning out, an entrepreneur building something meaningful between the demands of everyday life, or someone who simply knows there has to be a better way to move through your days, this is your space. Hosted by Michelle Oucharek-Deo, a productivity coach, creative arts therapist, and business entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience, each episode blends practical strategy with genuine human insight to help you stop waiting for the perfect moment and start making the most of the one you are in. This show goes beyond the checklist. Through her Time Core Strategy System, Michelle explores the real reasons we stall, scroll, and put our own goals last, and she offers grounded, sustainable strategies to shift that. From accountability and goal setting to mindset and self improvement, every episode is built around one belief: productivity is not about doing more. It is about doing what matters, in a way that actually fits your life. If you have ever asked yourself any of these questions, you are in the right place: How can I be more productive without working longer hours? Why am I so exhausted even when I feel busy? How do I stop procrastinating and actually follow through? Why do I keep putting my own goals last? How do I build a realistic schedule that I can stick to? How can I get more done and still have energy left at the end of the day? How do I take control of my time instead of letting it run me? How can I use my 168 hours differently this week? These questions only scratch the surface. But they are exactly the right place to start. Pull up a chair, hit play, and let's figure this out together. Because the life you want to be living is already waiting for the time you are about to reclaim.

Sep 8, 20269 minS1
Don't wait! Join my time community today. https://bit.ly/YPPNewsletter "What do you want the next three months to look like for you?" Michelle kicks off the fall season by connecting the dots between the Wharton School fresh start effect research she introduced back in episode 23 and why September might be the most underused reset point on the calendar. Rather than the pressure and overwhelm that January brings, she makes the case for something smaller and more personal: pick a handful of things you actually want the next three months to look like, and start today. She shares her own list, from painting more to finishing her book outline, as a simple example of what this can look like in practice, and sets up next episode's deeper dive into building a personal productivity map for the quarter ahead. What You'll Learn in This Episode Why September lines up almost perfectly with the research backed "fresh start effect," and why it may work even better than January How to turn a research concept into a personal landmark moment you can act on today, without waiting for a specific date A simple way to start planning your next three months, built around minutes and hours instead of just more work If you would like to book a consulation and get started on you Fall Productivity Map please email Michelle at vanartexpression@gmail.com

Aug 25, 202612 minS1
Join the Minutes Matter conversation every Sunday night https://bit.ly/YPPNewsletter "We all only have 168 hours in our week, and it's time to make those minutes matter." Every productivity story has roots, and in this episode, Michelle Oucharek-Deo shares the real origin story of the 42-minute hour, a time management method born out of an unexpected place: a 28 day television binge she knew had to change. From that moment came the 42-minute hour, a time tool built on primary and secondary goals, modeled after the math of streaming TV: 42 minutes of content to 18 minutes of breaks. Michelle shares real stories from the friends who tested it first, including an author who finished her manuscript and a businesswoman who hit her deadlines while finally prioritizing self care. This episode is a personal story and a practical toolkit, and it sets up what's coming next: a second, deeper chapter shaped by a life altering event in 2023 that changed Michelle's understanding of time and accountability forever. What You'll Learn in This Episode The real story behind the 42-minute hour, including the television binge that sparked its creation How to use the 42/18 time management method to balance primary and secondary goals without guilt Real world examples of how this method helped an author and a corporate professional get more done while reducing stress

Join a new weekly conversation a short weekly two mintue video that will drop on Sunday nights , but you can listen any time https://bit.ly/YPPNewsletter “We only are given 168 hours every week, and it’s time to make those minutes truly matter.” Interruptions are something every one of us deals with, and there is no single fix that works for everyone. This week Michelle Oucharek-Deo makes the case for staying open to a range of tools and approaches, because sustainable solutions come from having options, not from chasing one perfect method. After weeks of research into what actually pulls us off task, she breaks interruptions down into two clear buckets and shares the simplest possible fix for the first one, a fix that costs nothing and takes less than a minute to put in place. From there Michelle moves into the harder problem: what happens when the people around you keep pulling your attention away. She walks through a practical system for managing those interruptions as a team, along with why lasting change at work rarely comes from one person speaking up alone. What makes this episode land is Michelle's honesty about why change is hard, and her advice for anyone trying to build a culture where focused work can actually happen. Whether you're drowning in interruptions or trying to protect your team's focus, this episode gives you language and tools to start the conversation.
