EP91 :Japanese Challenge 4: When You Don’t Feel Well
Today’s episode is another Japanese Challenge ! We’ve been talking about medical Japanese in the last few episodes, so today we’re going to use some of those expressions in a short, everyday story. Kono 3 episode de benkyou shita kotoba o tsukatte, nihongo dake de hanashiteimasu. You’ll hear expressions like: Choushi ga amari yokunai I’m not feeling very well. Hanamizu ga deru I have a runny nose. Me ga kayui My eyes are itchy. Kaze-gimi kamo shiremasen I might be coming down with a cold. Kusuri o nondara, nemuku narimashita I took some medicine and got sleepy. Itamidome o nondeimasu I’ve been taking painkillers. First, listen to the Japanese at a normal speed. Then we’ll review some key words and expressions, listen to the Japanese again, and finish with a quick Japanese-English check.
