Judicial Nominating Commission gives insight into process
Many in the public have been wanting more transparency into the process for how Wyoming judges are selected. Last week, Owen Houtakker, our state government reporter, spoke with Amanda Good, an attorney and longest-serving member of the Judicial Nominating Commission, along with Wyoming Supreme Court Chief Justice Lynne Boomgaarden, who chairs the commission, about the commission's interview and selection process, as well as what happens when its work is done. Stick around until the end for a roundup of upcoming events in the area and a recap of the top stories from the WTE newsroom over the past week.
