WIN! Episode 9 - Building a Culture of Champions
Aug 3, 202615 min
WIN! The Coach Mays Show – Episode 9: Building a Culture of Champions Championships don't happen by chance—they're the product of an intentional culture built one decision, one habit, and one standard at a time. In Episode 9 of WIN! The Coach Mays Show, Coach Mays dives into what it truly takes to build a culture of champions. He explains the difference between an intentional culture—one that is purposefully created and reinforced every day—and an incidental culture that simply develops when leaders fail to set clear expectations. Coach Mays challenges coaches, athletes, parents, business leaders, and anyone striving for excellence to ask a simple but powerful question: Are you living up to the standards you expect from others? Culture isn't defined by what you write on a wall or print on a t-shirt. It's defined by what you consistently model, tolerate, and celebrate. Through practical insights and real-world examples, Coach Mays shares how establishing high standards, holding yourself accountable, and leading with purpose creates an environment where people don't just participate—they thrive. Whether you're leading a team, a classroom, a business, or your own family, this episode will inspire you to stop letting culture happen by accident and start building one that produces champions. Because great leaders don't inherit great cultures—they create them.
WIN! The Coach Mays Show – Episode 10: The 6 C's of Leadership Great leadership isn't about titles—it's about influence. In Episode 10 of WIN! The Coach Mays Show, Coach Mays breaks down the 6 C's of Leadership, a practical framework that every coach, athlete, business leader, educator, and parent can use to build stronger teams and stronger relationships. Discover why effective leaders prioritize: Connection – Build trust before expecting results. Communication – Create clarity, accountability, and unity. Consistency – Lead with dependable actions, not occasional effort. Courage – Make the difficult decisions others avoid. Character – Let integrity define your leadership. Competence – Continue learning, growing, and mastering your craft. But leadership isn't just about what you build—it's also about what you eliminate. Coach Mays also identifies three of the biggest culture killers that can quietly destroy any team or organization: blaming, complaining, and defensiveness. Left unchecked, these attitudes erode trust, weaken accountability, and prevent individuals and teams from reaching their full potential. Whether you're leading a locker room, a classroom, a business, or your own family, this episode will challenge you to evaluate your leadership, strengthen your culture, and become the kind of leader others want to follow. Leadership is a choice. Culture is a choice. Choose to lead with purpose, and watch everything around you begin to change.

WIN! Episode 6: Show Up Every Day: Consistency vs. Intensity
Jun 28, 202617 min
WIN! The Coach Mays Show – Episode 6: Show Up Every Day: Consistency vs. Intensity Everyone loves a big performance. Few people embrace the daily process it takes to get there. In Episode 6 of WIN! The Coach Mays Show, Coach Mays explores one of the most important lessons for success in sports, business, and life: consistency will always outperform intensity over time. It's easy to be motivated for a day. It's easy to give maximum effort when everyone is watching. But true winners aren't defined by occasional bursts of energy—they're defined by the discipline to show up every single day, even when they don't feel like it. Coach Mays breaks down why lasting success isn't built on emotional highs, but on daily habits, intentional routines, and the commitment to improve one step at a time. Whether you're a coach, athlete, parent, student, or leader, this episode will challenge you to stop chasing motivation and start building consistency. Because championships aren't won in one incredible moment—they're earned through thousands of ordinary ones. Show up. Stay committed. Trust the process. And keep winning.

What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2).
