Episode #161
In Search of the Perfect Power Nap
Aug 27, 202610 minS1
When? How long? Instead of coffee or along with coffee? This could be a controversial episode. Some folks swear by their afternoon power naps and others think they are a misguided waste of time. There is some great research on this, and surprisingly I actually took the time to consider it. I myself am a huge fan of afternoon power naps, and I have it dialed in to precisely 28 minutes on my timer. Normally I have coffee afterwards. But what if we did something crazy and drank the coffee BEFORE the nap?? There’s actually a name for that: The Nappuccino. Catch this episode to learn the strategy, the timing, the science and the art of coffee napping.
Forget Willpower: Make Healthy Habits with Lower Friction and Greater Ease with Matt Campbell
Aug 20, 202645 minS1
How can we turn the tide away from fast food, video games, and sleepless nights in our modern world filled with distractions, marketing temptations, and tasty highly-processed treats? Matt Campbell, PhD is a clinical psychologist who noticed over his many years of practice that patients were often depleted and exhausted. He wrote and published a workbook called Our Primal 5: The Simple 5-Week Guide to Self-Care. Ramsey and Matt focus in this episode on giving practical advice on how to make the healthy choices become the easiest choices. Matt’s Primal 5 are sunlight, sleep, movement, connection and consumption, which track closely to Ramsey’s Better Before Burnout strategies of waking, eating, moving and sleeping. This is a great episode to help you translate those basic but elusive foundations from aspirations to celebrations. Learn more at ourprimal5.com .
Heal Your Relationship Through Connection and Safety with Kameran Alareqi
Aug 13, 202647 minS1
How can you restore and deepen the strength of your romantic partnership? Kameran Alareqi is a certified marriage coach who meets couples where they’re at to help them strengthen their marriage by coaching them to become truly qualified to be in a marriage as individuals, deepen connection, improve communication, and apply tools needed to create the healthy marriage they envision and desire. Kam taught Ramsey a lot in this conversation about attachment, how people need to be honest with each other from the outset of a relationship, and how to establish safety between two people. She also introduced her own version of “the bases” that we are all trying to get around after our partner pitches us the ball. This is a great episode to learn what’s worthwhile to focus upon, in order to build healthy relationships. Learn more at www.recognizingpotential.com .
Why set aside focused, non-stressed time to eat lunch? Because we can create a bubble of space and time where our bodies can enter Rest and Relax mode, even if only for 30 to 60 minutes during an otherwise stress-filled day. That promotes effective digestion, especially when paired with some nice and fun or productive movement and exercise. It’s good to move throughout the day. We get stuck in traffic and at our desks too often, and movement is a big part of healthy living. I know we’re all busy, but lunch is worth scheduling and not cutting short.
Healthy Living in the Season through Traditional Chinese Medicine with Marylee Calmes
Jul 30, 202644 minS1
How can we feel our best year-round, nourish ourselves with the right foods, and avoid illness as the weather (and our bodies!) change with the seasons? Marylee Calmes is a 30-year practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and an educator. Her own healing journey began in the midst of illness, where she discovered that true healing is not a race, it’s a rhythm. That gentle, cyclical approach now informs everything Marylee teaches through her work with Living in the Season. Ramsey and Marylee spoke about the five seasons of TCM and how they connect to the elements, how TCM can complement Western Medicine, and specifically what we should be eating as we head into late Summer. In her practice, MaryLee offers seasonal guides, reflections, recipes, and meditations that bridge science, spirit, and natural medicine. She holds advanced degrees in Acupuncture, Oriental Medicine, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Psychology, and Education. Her approach is one of calm compassion and practical advice. If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
