Westside Christian Church - Sunday Messages
Beautiful Feet
What if we had a time machine that could show us the eternal consequences of a single moment? That vivid image opens up one of the most urgent conversations we can have as followers of Christ: what does it mean to truly share the gospel with the people around us? This message takes us into the heart of evangelism, not as a program or a church event, but as the natural culmination of every spiritual discipline we pursue. Drawing from Romans 10, we explore Paul's powerful chain of four questions that trace the pathway of salvation from Christ sending out heralds all the way to a believer calling on the name of Jesus and being saved. The sobering reality that heaven and hell are genuine destinations is not meant to paralyze us with fear but to ignite in us a compassion that moves us to action. We are reminded that the Greek word for preaching, karyoso, was never limited to what happens behind a pulpit. It means to be a herald, a mouthpiece for the king. And the king has already given his command. The question this message leaves ringing in our hearts is simple and searching: who is the one person we are being called to boldly share the good news with?
