Episode #63
Ep 63. A Little Pause | A Quick Update from Me
Jul 20, 20263 min
This week's episode is a little different. I'm sharing a quick life update before heading to Singapore for the 2026 Asia Pentecostal Summit and letting you know why I'm pressing pause on the podcast for a short while. Between work, family, travel, and the everyday rhythms of life, I've realised it's time to create a little breathing room and embrace a season of rest. Thank you so much for listening, supporting the podcast, and being part of this community. I can't wait to come back refreshed, with a full heart and more encouragement to share. I would love to connect with you! Ep 62. Strength Over Skinny | 5 Reasons Why Every Woman Should Lift Weights
Jul 13, 202612 min
For years, I thought exercise was about making my body smaller. But strength training has completely changed the way I see movement, my body, and what it means to care for the body God has given me. In this episode, I’m sharing 5 reasons why I believe every woman should consider lifting weights – from building strength and protecting our health, to learning perseverance, embracing discomfort, and letting go of perfectionism. This isn’t about chasing a certain body shape; it’s about becoming stronger, so we can live with greater capacity for the life God has called us to. Because your worth has never been found in your weight. It’s found in Christ. I would love to connect with you! Ep 61. What To Do When Life Feels Hard | The Secret in Psalm 34
Jul 6, 202614 min
This week I’m sharing from Psalm 34, a passage I’ve found myself sitting in again and again as I’ve been learning what it looks like to walk with God in the middle of hard and uncertain seasons. It’s a psalm written from a cave, not a place of comfort or clarity, but of fear, exhaustion and deliverance - 'and yet it begins with praise. In this episode, I reflect on David’s unexpected response in the aftermath of his lowest moments, and what it reveals about the nature of a heart turned toward God. We explore what it means to bless the Lord at all times, to magnify Him when life feels overwhelming, and to seek Him rather than just seek answers. I talk about the invitation in “taste and see that the Lord is good,” and how true faith is not just intellectual understanding, but personal experience of God’s goodness in real life. We also linger in the comfort of one of Scripture’s most tender promises - that the Lord is close to the broken-hearted. I unpack what it means to trust His nearness even when we don’t feel it, and how God does not waste our pain but meets us in it with presence, peace and quiet strength. Ultimately, this episode continues the thread from last week as I reflect on what God desires most: our hearts. And Psalm 34 shows us what that looks like in practice - a heart that praises instead of panics, seeks instead of strives, tastes and sees His goodness, and rests in His nearness even in the hardest seasons. My prayer is that this episode would gently invite you back to that place of trust and surrender - not striving harder, but simply turning your heart toward Him again, and discovering, once more, that He is good. Ep 60. What God Wants Most From You | A Mid-Year Reflection
Jun 29, 20268 min
What if the thing God wants most from you isn't your service, your effort, or your accomplishments... but your heart? As we reach the halfway point of the year, I'm taking a moment to reflect on the one theme I believe God has been quietly weaving through every season of 2026: the heart. In this short, personal episode, I share a devotion I recently gave to my team at work - exploring what Scripture really means when it talks about the heart, why God continually asks for ours, and how His desire isn't simply to change our hearts, but to fill them. Together we'll look at what it means to surrender the deepest parts of ourselves to God, examine what currently has our hearts, and finish by praying one of the most beautiful passages in Scripture over ourselves and our families from Ephesians 3. If you've been feeling busy, distracted, or in need of a simple invitation back to what matters most, I pray this episode encourages you. I would love to connect with you! Ep 59. Fully Known, Deeply Loved | What I Never Noticed in Psalm 139
Jun 22, 202622 min
Have you ever read a passage of Scripture so many times that you assume there's nothing new left to discover? That's exactly how I felt about Psalm 139. This week, I found myself unexpectedly lingering in one of the Bible's most familiar psalms. But instead of being drawn to the well-known verses about being "fearfully and wonderfully made," I was captivated by something else entirely: the intimacy of a God who searches us, knows us completely, surrounds us on every side, and lovingly rests His hand upon us. In this episode, I unpack Psalm 139 and explore what David meant when he wrote, "O Lord, you have searched me and known me." We'll talk about God's omniscience, His presence in our past, present, and future, the beautiful imagery of God's hand upon our lives, and why David's final prayer - “Search me, O God" - is one of the most powerful prayers we can pray. If you've ever longed to feel closer to God, struggled with feeling unseen, or wondered what true intimacy with God looks like, this episode is for you. Together we'll discover that before we ever reached for God, He was already holding us. I would love to connect with you!
