Ep. 176 - Who Will Become the USA's 64th National Park?
It takes an awful lot of time, resources and effort for a place to ascend to the most cherished of all outdoor titles - National Park. You may have asked yourself, who decides what areas become a national park and what qualifications go into it? Afterall, Yellowstone is over 2 million acres of incredible beauty, while the Gateway Arch is less than 200 acres in size. And after the creation of our 63rd National Park in 2020, many people are wondering when our 64th will debut, and where. In this episode, we'll give our best guesses on who's next based on current bills and legislation, plus we'll chat about who fell out of national park status over time (we've had 67 national parks overall!) and a few places that have barely missed the cut! ____________________________________ S04 Ep176 ____________________________________ Connect with us on social media: Instagram: @unscaledtravelshow Twitter: @fullmetaltravlr Facebook: @fullmetaltraveler Website: https://www.unscaledtravelshow.com/
