Twenty years, four businesses, and more lessons learned the hard way than I can count. I’ve built a soap company that sold to over 10K stores, launched two gift boutiques, and created a live music lounge—keeping things interesting is kind of my thing. Here, you’ll find candid, comedic insight into the hard-earned lessons of entrepreneurship—the good, the bad, and the "‘wish someone had warned me’ moments." Whether you’re starting a business, reinventing your career, or just love behind-the-scenes stories of business ownership, this podcast has something for you. You’ll also hear exclusive chapters and excerpts from the upcoming publication series, Unfinished Business: The Art of Reinvention—a curated collection of business insight, self-growth strategies, and real-world lessons from two decades of building (and rebuilding). Each episode is packed with entrepreneurial wisdom, personal development takeaways, and straight-shooting advice that just might save you time, money, and frustration on your own journey. Because reinvention isn’t just about business—it’s about life. unfinishedbusinessreinvention.com

Ever notice how the second your blinker goes on, every car in your zip code seems to downshift into sloth mode? In this episode of Unfinished Business: The Art of Reinvention, we explore the irrational rage of everyday annoyances—blinker slowdowns, hallway shoulder checks, rogue cabinet corners, and broken toes via innocent baseboard trim. (Yes. Actual broken toes.)<br />If you've ever been overstimulated, burned out, or screamed “Really? TODAY?!” at the universe over something small, this one’s for you.<br />You’ll hear hilarious personal stories, real signs of sensory overload, and practical ways to reset your vibe (even if th...
🧀 "Hi, I’m Business Bleu Cheese"<br />Let’s talk about taste buds, career pivots, and that time I accidentally launched mashed peas and potatoes across a holiday dinner table. You ever hated a food so much as a kid that your whole nervous system rejected it? Mine was a combo platter of cold mashed potatoes and overcooked peas, force-fed to me by well-meaning adults who clearly didn’t know I was built different. And now? Now I CRAVE bleu cheese like it’s oxygen.<br />Which got me thinking… our tastes evolve. And if that’s true for food, it’s gotta be t...
If you’ve ever discreetly buried your uneaten food under a paper towel, congratulations—you, too, might be a product of The Clean Plate Club™. But why do we do this?<br />Is there an Uneaten Food Police? Am I afraid my trash can is going to judge me?<br />And does this subconscious food guilt have anything to do with my childhood fear of Oscar the Grouch? (Probably.) In this episode, we dig into:✅ The psychological leftovers of being raised to "clean your plate"<br />✅ The dinner table survival tactics of every 80s/90s kid<br />✅ How this weird habit ties i...
Why Is Picking Up a Bobby Pin Harder Than Running a Business
Feb 26, 20256 minS1
Why is picking up bobby pins off the floor harder than running a business? Science says friction and surface area. I say there’s a small village of bobby pins living in my hair with a personal vendetta, and I am their pawn. But avoiding small, frustrating tasks—like picking up bobby pins—only makes them multiply. Business, life, or hair accessories… tackle them now, or risk a full Gremlin situation. And I think we all remember how that turned out.
Let’s talk about reinvention. Not the motivational, sunrise yoga retreat kind, but the real-life kind—the kind that sneaks up on you when you realize your once-brilliant idea, career, or haircut isn’t working anymore. And if you’ve ever cut your own bangs, rocked a Kool-Aid mustache in elementary school, or survived a perm that had absolutely no business existing—then congrats! You’ve already experienced reinvention. In this episode, we’re diving into:<br />✔️ The absolutely questionable hair decisions of my past and how they somehow apply to business.<br />✔️ Why reinvention isn’t always glamorous—sometimes, it looks a lot like standi...
Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
