With the case now reopened and a special prosecutor appointed , the legal questions surrounding the Cornell 7 are far from settled. Breaking news on Porch Guy video - you won't want to miss!
Oct 2, 202639 min
BREAKING NEWS in the Nancy Guthrie case! On Breaking the Case with Jen Coffindaffer FBI , Jen takes another close look at the FBI-released “Porch Guy” video and says she spotted a potentially important detail when the footage is slowed down frame by frame. Jen focuses on what appears to be a hole or opening in the suspect’s glove , occurring after he reaches into the foliage near Nancy Guthrie’s home. She explores whether that could potentially be significant given the discussion surrounding a mixed DNA profile in the case. Jen is careful to point out that the footage does not establish that blood or DNA was left behind —but she believes the detail raises an intriguing question that investigators may want to examine. Sometimes the smallest detail can change the questions we ask. #BreakTheCase #NancyGuthrie #NancyGuthrieCase #NancyGuthrieInvestigation #PorchGuy #FBI #DNA #ForensicEvidence #VideoEvidence #MissingPerson #MissingPersons #TrueCrime #TrueCrimeCommunity #CrimeInvestigation #JenCoffindaffer #JusticeForNancy #CoffindafferFBI

NEW RULING in the Lindsay Clancy case! On Breaking the Case with Jen Coffindaffer FBI , Jen is joined by attorney Philip Dubé to break down Judge Sullivan’s new ruling denying Lindsay Clancy’s Rule 25 motion for a required finding of not guilty . Philip explains what Rule 25 means, why the judge determined there was enough evidence for a rational jury to consider the charges, and why the decision does not determine Lindsay’s guilt or innocence. They also discuss what could happen next—including a retrial, a potential plea agreement, or the DA deciding not to pursue another trial . With additional motions still pending, including double jeopardy and requests involving the holdout juror’s records , the next court date could be critical. The legal battle is far from over. #BreakTheCase #LindsayClancy #LindsayClancyCase #PhilipDube #Rule25 #Rule25Motion #Mistrial #HungJury #JuryDeliberations #DoubleJeopardy #CoraClancy #DawsonClancy #CallanClancy #CriminalJustice #LegalAnalysis #TrueCrime #TrueCrimeCommunity #JenCoffindaffer #CoffindafferFBI

Sep 30, 20261h 13m
Nancy Guthrie deserves better than misinformation. On Breaking the Case with Jen Coffindaffer FBI , Jen takes a deep dive into what she says are misconceptions and inaccuracies being circulated about the Nancy Guthrie investigation. Jen breaks down claims involving kidnapping for ransom, extortion, FBI jurisdiction, and how federal cases are actually opened and investigated —using specific records, statements, and what she calls the “receipts” to challenge information she believes is incorrect. The goal isn’t simply to disagree—it’s to separate documented facts from speculation and give viewers the information they need to make their own decisions about this case. In a case this important, facts matter. #BreakTheCase #NancyGuthrie #NancyGuthrieCase #NancyGuthrieInvestigation #FBI #Kidnapping #KidnapForRansom #Extortion #TrueCrime #TrueCrimeCommunity #MissingPerson #MissingPersons #CrimeInvestigation #ColdCase #JenCoffindaffer #FactsMatter #CoffindafferFBI
A NEW ransom note in the Nancy Guthrie case? On Breaking the Case with Jen Coffindaffer FBI , Jen examines a disturbing new alleged ransom demand sent to a neighbor of Nancy Guthrie. The person claimed Nancy was alive in Mexico and demanded Bitcoin in exchange for her return. But the conversation quickly raised red flags—including a supposed “proof of life” video that appeared to be AI-generated , references to publicly known information, and claims involving Annie and Tommaso. Jen explains how the neighbor kept the person talking, contacted the sheriff, preserved the messages, and ultimately uncovered clues suggesting the contact may have been an extortion scam rather than a legitimate kidnapping communication . Pima County authorities were notified and, according to the episode, were looking into the information.
