Episode 86: Secrets to success - becoming your own ally.
Aug 16, 202622 min
Become Your Own Ally We all need people in our corner—people who encourage us, believe in us, celebrate our victories, and stand beside us when things get difficult. But what happens when the people we love can't be there? Or when they don't understand what we're trying to accomplish? One of the most important things we can learn is how to become our own ally. That doesn't mean we have to do everything alone. It means learning to accept love and support from others without becoming dependent upon it. It means giving ourselves permission to have hard days, while still choosing to get back up and keep moving forward. It means facing rejection, failure, and uncertainty while reminding ourselves that we are worth the effort. In this episode of Todd Talk, we explore the difference between accepting support and relying on it, why your own encouragement matters, and how learning to believe in yourself can change the way you pursue the life you want. Because the people who love you can walk beside you—but ultimately, you have to keep showing up for yourself.
Episode 85: How to be a better communicator by letting silence have its day.
Aug 9, 202620 min
Sometimes, being a better communicator means saying less. I've always been a talker. But over the years, I've learned that being comfortable talking doesn't necessarily mean you're good at communicating. Sometimes the most important part of a conversation is what we don't say. In this episode of Todd Talk, I talk about some of the communication lessons I've learned—sometimes the hard way. We don't always need to soften our experiences, defend what we mean, or give someone else an explanation for how they should interpret what we're saying. We can simply speak our truth. And when we're listening, we can give people something equally valuable: space. Instead of leading someone toward the answer we expect, what happens when we simply ask, "How was it?" and let them tell us? What happens when we resist the urge to fill the silence, offer a solution, or tell someone what we think they should be thinking? The same principle applies to leadership. The person who speaks first isn't always the person who communicates best. Sometimes, the strongest leader in the room is the one who listens to everyone else before offering their own opinion. Because people don't always need us to fix something for them. Sometimes, they simply need to know they've been heard. This is a conversation about listening, leadership, humility, and learning to leave enough room for other people to be heard.
There are seasons in life when pain is unavoidable. We all experience loss, disappointment, difficult decisions, and moments that test our strength. But somewhere along the way, many of us begin to believe that suffering is something we owe—to our families, our careers, our friends, or the people who came before us. In this episode of Todd Talk, we're challenging that belief. We'll explore the difference between experiencing hardship and choosing to remain there, why so many of us wear exhaustion and misery as badges of honor, and why pursuing joy isn't a sign that you've forgotten your struggles. It's a sign that you're healing. You don't have to prove your loyalty by staying unhappy. You don't have to earn your happiness by carrying yesterday's pain into tomorrow. You can honor the difficult chapters of your life while still turning the page. Join me as we talk about letting go of guilt, embracing fulfillment, and remembering one simple truth: You don't owe your suffering to anyone.
Some days just seem determined to test your patience. In this episode of Todd Talk, Todd shares the story of a morning that went spectacularly off the rails—from a cow and a steer turning the barn into an obstacle course to a lawn tractor that literally fell apart in his hands. At some point, all he could do was sit back and laugh. That chaotic morning led to a simple but powerful reminder: sometimes we're so busy searching for diamonds that we fail to notice we're already walking through gemstones. Life has a way of drawing our attention to what's broken, what's frustrating, or what still needs fixing. But right alongside those challenges are blessings we've grown so accustomed to that we hardly notice them anymore. Join Todd for a lighthearted conversation about gratitude, perspective, finding joy in the ordinary, and why it's okay to laugh when life doesn't go according to plan. Because sometimes the greatest treasures aren't the ones we're chasing—they're the ones we've been standing beside all along.
Regret has a strange way of shaping our lives. Sometimes it pushes us to take chances so we don't miss out on what could have been. Other times, it convinces us to stand perfectly still, afraid that making the wrong decision will leave us with even more regret than doing nothing at all. In this episode of Todd Talk, Todd explores how regret can quietly influence our choices, our relationships, and even the conversations we avoid. Through a simple story about an SOS pad his cousin once used in an unexpected way, he uncovers a powerful lesson about communication: we often assume other people know what we're thinking, when in reality, they've never been given the information they need. Whether you've been hesitating to make a decision, holding back an important conversation, or carrying the weight of "what if," this episode is a reminder that clarity is kinder than assumption, and action often teaches us more than fear ever will. Sometimes the greatest regrets aren't the mistakes we made—they're the words we never said and the chances we never took.

What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
