  Episode 22 and I've been going back through every Yozora scene we have — all fourteen generous minutes of them — and the conclusion I keep landing on is that Yozora is a tool. A commander who meets someone who doesn't match his description and attacks anyway isn't commanding anything; that's enforcer behaviour. In this episode I work through the Nameless Star's claim that his heart has been replaced, why "unreality" is starting to look like a label rather than a description when Quadratum keeps running Reality's mechanics, and the red-and-blue heterochromia as 3D-glasses lenses — the ability to see and swap between planes. Then the big one: I don't think we labelled the right Re:Mind ending "good." Yozora dissolving into light reads as a being of lux, Sora crystallising reads as the stasis that actually ports him to Quadratum, and Luxord's car commentary — or pointed silence — splits the two endings into two very different arrivals.   Episode 21 and it's not the Lost Masters arc. It's the Lost Master arc. Singular. No S. And once you notice that, the whole question changes. In this episode I break the phrase down into its parts: what "lost" actually requires — you can't lose something you never had, so this is someone we've already met; why deaths in Union Cross might not count when Daybreak Town was a simulation restarted over and over to draw something out; why the Keyblade Graveyard having its name before the first Keyblade War we ever see is a chicken-and-egg problem the Hollow Bastion precedent makes worse; and why Ava — the obvious answer, the Master even Luxu shrugs about — has a form-mimicking ability that means she may not be absent at all. Then it gets philosophical: reformed selves aren't the same people, you don't step in the same river twice, "lost" is a moral declaration as often as a physical state — and the black sheep of this whole saga might be Xehanort himself. And underneath all of it, the possibility I can't shake: the Lost Master might not be a person at all.   Why Sora Has an Apartment

  Episode 20 and something's been pinging around in my head since the new KH4 trailer: Quadratum has no colour. Strelitzia is black and white. Sora is red and black. Luxord, black. Sigurd gets purple — and black. The city is greys and whites outside the advertising, the NPCs all dress business casual, and there are no kids, no animals, no hospitals, no schools, no parks — none of the life a city is supposed to contain. In this episode I think through the apartment that nobody seems to live in and why it matches neither Strelitzia's personality nor any real depiction of a Japanese home, why people who fear being swept up again don't decorate, the cog-in-the-machine reading where it doesn't matter that it's Sora — just what makes Sora useful, and how every other dark place in this series — San Fransokyo, The World That Never Was, Twilight Town — still had lights, trash cans, and personality. In this episode I walk back through the theory against the new footage: why Traverse Town appears for people in need of refuge while Quadratum collects people who shouldn't be there at all, the FNAF 6 parallel of everyone being summoned into one labyrinth, the narrator's strange declaration that darkness had no concept there before it came with us, the Darkside whose Quadratum form is all wires and sinew and data-cable tendons, the Darknesses that turn out to be hollow shells and marionette approximations, and why a city — familiar, rote, day-in-day-out — is exactly what you'd build if you wanted a trap nobody checks the walls of. Plus the freeze-frame of Sigurd smiling next to a Darkside he clearly doesn't consider a threat, and what the people in the know might already understand about moving in and out. The first KH4 trailer told us Quadratum is an afterworld beyond the Final World, the place you reach once you've made peace. But Strelitzia died violently, unseen, and completely unresolved — the exact profile of the hearts we meet clinging to the Final World over far less. So in this episode I think through why she's there at all: why Quadratum is starting to look less like a new life and more like limbo, the pattern of who's being gathered there and why none of them should be, what "Lost Master" might actually be referring to now that the definition of a Master has quietly changed, and why the Master of Masters — a man who picks nobody idly — choosing Strelitzia has red flags all over it.
