Tom Gazzola has been covering Edmonton sports teams since 2007. A graduate of the NAIT Radio & Television Arts program, his career began as a Studio Runner for Sportsnet Oilers telecasts. By the end of the 2007-08 hockey season, Tom was working for the Score and wound up on the beat for NHL & CFL games as well as the Edmonton Indy. From there he moved to Lloydminster to work the anchor desk at CKSA-CITL for two years before a brief stint anchoring sports at CTV Edmonton. Prior to the 2010-11 hockey season, Tom was hired as the first ever Lead Host & Reporter for Oilers TV where he spent eight years before moving on to assignments with TSN and TSN 1260. For eight more seasons, he hosted Oilers pre & post game shows on different platforms, including TSN 1260. Since the 2022 CFL season Tom has worked as a Sidelines Reporter on CFL On TSN broadcasts in both Edmonton & Calgary. In the spring of 2023 he launched his Saturday radio show “Hello Hockey” alongside his good friend and former NHLer Shawn Belle. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
