We continue our series in Genesis, *The God of Everything*. In this sermon, Pastor Andrew preaches on Genesis 1:1-2, examining the opening words of Scripture and what they reveal about God as the Creator of all things. Genesis begins with God, who existed before the created order and brought the heavens and the earth into existence. The passage establishes the foundation for a biblical understanding of creation, God's sovereignty, and the relationship between the Creator and His creation. Pastor Andrew also examines the condition of the earth in Genesis 1:2 and the work of the Spirit of God hovering over the waters. These opening verses introduce God's power to bring order, life, and purpose to His creation and establish foundational truths that shape the rest of Scripture.
