10. Waiting on God's Promises? What Abraham's 25-Year Wait Can Teach You!
Aug 2, 202617 min
Have you ever wondered if God forgot the promise He made to you? In this episode, I share a deeply personal part of my own journey, what it's been like waiting 25 years for a promise the Lord spoke over my life. Through Scripture, God reminded me of Abraham and Sarah, who also waited twenty-five years before seeing His promise fulfilled. Their story completely shifted my perspective on waiting, faith, and God's perfect timing. If you've been praying for healing, restoration, a child, a marriage, a breakthrough, or an answered prayer that still hasn't come, this conversation is for you. My prayer is that this episode reminds you that a delay is not a denial, and God's silence is never His absence. He is still working, even when you can't see it. Enrollment for The Healed Woman is officially open! If you're ready to renew your mind, heal from the wounds that have kept you stuck, and grow deeper in your relationship with Jesus through a clinical and biblical approach, I would love to walk alongside you over the next six months. Spots are intentionally limited to keep this an intimate experience, and enrollment won't remain open for long. The doors will be closing soon as we prepare to begin, so if you feel the Lord leading you to join us, I encourage you not to wait. 09. Is This From God? Learning to Discern His Voice in a Noisy World
Jun 3, 202616 min
In this episode, we’re talking about something I know so many of us quietly struggle with, discernment. Like… how do you actually know if what you’re sensing is from God? Or if it’s your emotions, your fears, your desires, or just the noise of life? Because I think we’ve all had those moments where we’re praying, asking God for clarity, and still thinking, “I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do.” In this conversation, I share what I’ve been learning about discernment. That it’s not always this super clear, instant answer. Most of the time, it’s slower than that. It’s learning how to pause. How to stay close to God when you don’t have certainty. How to recognize His peace, His conviction, and His leading over time. And I think the biggest shift for me has been realizing it’s less about trying to get God to give me a clear yes or no… and more about learning how to stay in relationship with Him through the uncertainty. Because He really does lead us but not always in the way we expect. If you’re in a season where you’re asking a lot of questions, trying to make a decision, or just feeling unsure about what God is doing in your life, I hope this episode feels like a deep breath for you. And if you need prayer, or you just want to reach out and connect, you can email me here: Seedofhopenyc@gmail.com I really do love hearing from you and walking with you in this. And if you’re in a season of healing, rebuilding, and wanting to grow deeper in your identity in Christ, I want to personally invite you to join the Healed Woman - Click Here I’d love to have you there !
08.How to Deny Yourself and Follow Jesus (When It Feels Hard)
Apr 23, 202616 min
Welcome back to The Rested Woman Podcast! I’m so glad you’re here. Today, we’re sitting with something real… something many of us feel but don’t always know how to name: what it means to deny yourself in your walk with Jesus. Because if you’re honest, you love God… you want to follow Him… but this process of letting go of old ways, old habits, and old versions of yourself can feel harder than you expected. This conversation is for the woman who is trying. The one who is learning to pause instead of react. The one who is choosing discipline over comfort. The one who feels the tension between who she used to be and who God is calling her to become. We’re talking about what this looks like in real life, not just spiritually, but emotionally and mentally too. Why your mind pulls you back to what’s familiar. Why obedience can feel uncomfortable. And how to stay anchored in truth when your feelings are pulling you in a different direction. We’ll also look at how even Jesus experienced temptation and tension and what we can learn from the way He responded. If you’ve been feeling that internal pull… the struggle… that daily choosing, this episode is for you. And if you’re in a place where you know you don’t want to navigate this alone, I want to gently invite you into a deeper level of support. I offer one-on-one sessions where we walk through this together, helping you understand what’s coming up for you, break patterns, and build rhythms that support your growth both spiritually and emotionally. If this resonates, you can schedule a discovery call HERE. It’s a space for us to connect, talk through where you are, and see how I can support you in this season. SCHEDULE HERE
07.Learning to Trust and Receive God’s Blessings Without Self-Sabotage
Mar 29, 202618 min
Have you ever prayed for something deeply… only to feel anxious, overwhelmed, or unsure when God actually answers? In this episode of The Rested Woman Podcast, we’re having an honest and heart-centered conversation about what it really looks like to trust God in the receiving season and why self-sabotage can show up right when prayers are being fulfilled. Through a powerful reflection on Exodus 15:22–27 and Exodus 16, we explore how the Israelites struggled to trust God even after experiencing miracles and how we can find ourselves doing the same. I also shares a personal testimony about returning to school as a single mom, navigating uncertainty, hearing God’s direction, facing rejection, and ultimately stepping into a calling that didn’t look how I expected. But even after the door opened, fear, doubt, and hesitation tried to take over. This episode will help you: Understand why receiving blessings can feel uncomfortable Recognize subtle forms of self-sabotage rooted in fear Learn how to trust God daily, not just in the waiting Release control and embrace God’s provision with peace Stay grounded in faith when stepping into new seasons If you’ve ever struggled to fully receive what you’ve prayed for… this conversation is for you. 06. For the One Who Feels Unloved: Understanding God’s Agape Love
Mar 6, 202614 min
The Unfailing Love In this episode of The Rested Woman Podcast, we reflect on the beauty and depth of God’s unfailing love , the kind of love the Bible describes as agape. It is a love that is unconditional, faithful, and not dependent on our circumstances, performance, or perfection. So many of us move through life longing to feel loved, chosen, and secure. We often search for love in relationships, achievements, or validation from others, hoping it will fill the deeper longing within our hearts. But the truth is that before we ever began searching, God had already placed His love over our lives. In this episode, we talk about what agape love truly means, how God created us intentionally as His masterpiece, and how His love remains constant even when life feels uncertain. We also reflect on how understanding God’s love can begin to heal the places in our hearts that have experienced disappointment, rejection, or loneliness. This conversation is a gentle reminder that God’s love is not fragile or temporary , it is steady, faithful, and always available to us. His love invites us to rest, to trust, and to live from a place of being deeply known and loved.
