Week 5 Preview and Best Bets: Ohio State at Iowa Plus AP Top 25 | The College Football Show
The College Football Show is back for Week 5, and host Shane Barrett runs through a reshuffled AP Top 25, breaks down the biggest game on the board, and lays out the bets he is backing. Shane opens with the poll: the risers, the fallers, the teams knocking on the door from just outside the rankings, and a full slate of ranked squads he has on upset alert. Then it is on to his Game of the Week, Ohio State at Iowa, a College GameDay clash at Kinnick Stadium. The fifth-ranked Buckeyes roll into Iowa City as heavy favorites, but the fourteenth-ranked Hawkeyes are unbeaten, lead the nation in scoring defense, and are fresh off a last-play upset of Michigan. Star receiver Jeremiah Smith, safety Jaylen McClain, and edge rusher Kenyatta Jackson Jr. lead the Ohio State side against Iowa quarterback Hank Brown, running back Kamari Moulton, and cornerback Deshaun Lee. With a two-touchdown spread and one of the lowest totals on the board, Shane has a firm read on where the value sits.
