Lucas and Luna explore the craft of people management in a series of focused conversations grounded in real-world cases and data. Each episode tackles a specific management challenge—hiring for culture fit vs. skill, conducting effective performance reviews, navigating team conflict, delegating without losing control, or building psychological safety in hybrid teams. Lucas brings the research (Gallup engagement data, Google's Project Aristotle, HBR case studies) and Luna pushes back with frontline practice from her own experience managing teams of ten to fifty. They avoid platitudes; instead, they walk through concrete scenarios like how to tell a high performer they're not getting promoted, how to run a retrospective that doesn't devolve into blame, and how to set boundaries with a CEO who keeps bypassing the chain of command. The show serves mid-level managers who have six to twenty direct reports and want to get better at the human side of leadership—not the theory, but the messy, d

The Manager's Hour How to Stop Fixing People
Sep 13, 20269 minS4
Most managers spend hours trying to fix their team members' personality flaws, but research shows that trait-based coaching rarely sticks. In this episode, we look at how leading companies are shifting from 'fixing people' to 'fitting roles.' We explore the specific case of a mid-sized logistics firm that reduced turnover by forty percent simply by mapping employee strengths against job design rather than trying to change who they are. Lucas and Luna break down why your best hires might be failing not because they lack discipline, but because their natural operating rhythm clashes with your current process. Learn how to diagnose friction as a system problem, not a character defect, and start building teams where individual quirks become competitive advantages instead of liabilities. #PeopleManagement #TeamBuilding #LeadershipSkills #EmployeeRetention #StrengthsBasedManagement #RoleDesign #OrganizationalPsychology #ManagerialFriction #TalentStrategy #WorkplaceCulture #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #HumanResources #ProductivityHacks #ManagementTips #CareerDevelopment #SoftSkills #CorporateLeadership Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo

In September 2026, many leaders are drowning in calendar clutter. This episode examines a specific case study of a mid-sized tech firm that eliminated all recurring meetings for one quarter. We break down the operational mechanics, the initial productivity dip, and the long-term gains in deep work hours. Lucas and Luna discuss how to audit your own schedule without causing team-wide anxiety. #MeetingCulture #DeepWork #ProductivityHacks #LeadershipSkills #TeamManagement #BusinessStrategy #OperationalEfficiency #CorporateCulture #TimeManagement #RemoteWork #AgileMethodology #ManagerHour #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #WorkLifeBalance #OrganizationalBehavior #LeadershipDevelopment #EmployeeExperience Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
We explore the hidden cost of unwritten rules in teams, specifically how unspoken norms around availability and communication shape performance. Using the example of a mid-sized tech firm that struggled with burnout due to implicit expectations of immediate response, we discuss how to surface these norms explicitly. Lucas and Luna break down the difference between stated culture and lived reality, offering practical steps for managers to audit their team's invisible workflows. This episode focuses on making the implicit explicit to reduce cognitive load and improve psychological safety. #PeopleManagement #TeamBuilding #LeadershipSkills #BusinessPodcast #FexingoBusiness #UnwrittenRules #TeamCulture #ManagerHour #PsychologicalSafety #RemoteWork #CommunicationNorms #EmployeeBurnout #OrganizationalBehavior #TeamDynamics #ManagementTips #WorkplaceCulture #HiddenCosts #ExplicitExpectations Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
We often talk about written rules and explicit policies, but what happens when the real operating system of a team lives in the shadows? In this episode, Lucas and Luna explore the hidden cost of unwritten norms—the silent expectations that dictate who gets credit, who takes risks, and who stays late. Using the example of a high-performing marketing team at a mid-sized software firm where 'visibility' became an unspoken currency, we break down how these invisible contracts erode trust and drive away talent. If you feel like your team is competent but stuck in a subtle power struggle, the issue might not be policy, but culture. We discuss three specific ways to surface these norms without creating awkward confrontation, helping managers turn implicit biases into explicit agreements. #TeamCulture #UnwrittenRules #LeadershipSkills #ManagerHour #OrganizationalBehavior #PsychologicalSafety #EmployeeRetention #BusinessStrategy #WorkplaceDynamics #FexingoBusiness #ManagementTips #CorporateCulture #TeamBuilding #HRInsights #LeadershipDevelopment #BusinessPodcast #SoftSkills #OfficePolitics Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo

What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
