79: Stylist Spotlight: The Law of Attraction and Rewiring the Fear of Success with Courtney Davila
Today we're continuing our Stylist Spotlight series, and I am so excited to welcome Courtney Davila of Anaheim, CA to the show! Courtney has built a thriving personal styling business dressing queer and trans adults for their daily lives, and she is fully booked out months in advance. But even with a full calendar, she came to our conversation carrying a very real limiting belief, the fear that something this good is going to be taken away from her. In this episode, Courtney and I talk about her path from an apparel degree at Cal Poly Pomona into e-commerce styling and then into the deeply personal, values-driven styling work she does now. Then we go straight into a live coaching conversation, where we dig into what's really underneath an "upper limit" ceiling: the practical, business-side fixes like outsourcing and safety nets, and the energetic, mindset-side work of finding the positive opposite of your biggest fear. We also talk honestly about running a business alongside chronic illness and OCD, and why courage isn't the absence of fear, it's doing the thing anyway! If my last episode lit something up for you, enrollment is open for Success Prodigy, my four-month program built on four pillars: mindset, wealth consciousness, communication, and negotiation.
