Episode #172
Trusting Your Intuition When Everything Is Changing with Nicole Drummond
What happens when your intuition gets louder—but your logical mind wants answers? In this episode of The Healing Artist, I’m joined by Nicole Drummond, an intuitive healer, channel, and mentor who helps highly sensitive people and empaths move beyond overthinking, self-doubt, and people-pleasing so they can develop trust in their own intuition and inner authority. Nicole and I have a deeply honest conversation about what it actually looks like to live a spiritual life while still being a human being in the world. Because awakening doesn't necessarily mean disappearing into an ashram. Sometimes you’re having a profound spiritual experience and then you still have to do the school run, buy groceries, put gas in the car, run your business, and figure out what’s for dinner. We talk about intuitive development, spiritual awakening, being highly sensitive, channeling, empathy, boundaries, learning to say no, and what happens when we stop trying to force ourselves into someone else's version of spirituality. Nicole shares her own journey from overthinking and self-doubt into trusting her intuition, including how she began recognizing herself as a channel and how following her intuition transformed the way she approached relationships, work, and her own life. We also talk about what Nicole calls “certificationitis”—the belief that we need one more course, one more qualification, one more teacher, or one more answer before we're allowed to trust ourselves. And then things get deliciously personal. Nicole generously gives me a mini intuitive/channeling session during the conversation, tuning into what I’m currently moving through around letting go, identity, beingness, ego death, and the tension between wanting to expand while also desperately wanting to remain fully human. She talks about the difference between learning something and remembering it. We explore the possibility that we are not actually incomplete—that perhaps the work isn't always about becoming someone new, but about allowing layers of who we thought we had to be to fall away. There’s a beautiful thread throughout this conversation about letting go, self-acceptance, discernment, and learning to sit with the unknown. And honestly? I needed this conversation. If you are highly sensitive, intuitive, empathic, spiritually awakening, questioning your path, or simply learning how to trust your own inner voice, I think there is something here for you. ✨ Learn more about Nicole Drummond: https://nicoledrummond.com/ ✨ Nicole’s Intuitive Development Training begins November 6, 2026: https://nicoledrummond.com/intuitive-training-level-1 You can also find Nicole on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and through her website.
