What separates a founder who survives the first three years from one who doesn't? Lucas and Luna sift through the wreckage and the wins of first-time entrepreneurs — from the solo developer who built a $2M ARR SaaS on zero funding to the restaurateur who burned $400K of family money on a concept that never opened. Each episode takes a single founder's arc: the pitch that worked, the co-founder blowup, the pricing mistake that nearly killed the company, the moment they almost quit. Lucas brings the numbers — customer acquisition cost, churn rate, monthly burn — while Luna pushes on the psychology: what did you tell yourself at 2 a.m. when the servers went down and payroll was due? No heroic narratives, no 'just believe in yourself.' They map failure patterns — premature scaling, product-market drift, co-founder misalignment — against real P&Ls and cap tables. The listener is someone building a first business or investing in one: you want the post-mortem before you make your own. Every c

Why Your First Business Model Failed
Sep 13, 20268 minS4
Most first-time founders don't fail because their product is bad. They fail because they build a solution before understanding the unit economics of acquisition. In this episode, Lucas and Luna break down how the 'land and expand' strategy works for enterprise software but collapses under itself for consumer apps. We look at a specific case where a founder spent ninety thousand dollars in marketing to acquire five hundred users, only to realize the lifetime value was twelve dollars. This is a deep dive into customer acquisition cost versus lifetime value, and why ignoring that gap early on is the fastest way to burn through seed funding. #BusinessPodcast #FexingoBusiness #StartupStrategy #UnitEconomics #CustomerAcquisitionCost #LifetimeValue #FirstTimeFounders #SaaS #MarketingROI #SeedFunding #GrowthHacking #FounderLessons #BusinessModel #CashBurn #ProductMarketFit #Entrepreneurship #FinanceTips #TechStartups Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
Why Founders Ignore Unit Economics Until It Is Too Late
Sep 12, 20269 minS4
Most first-time founders treat unit economics as an accounting exercise, but it is actually the heartbeat of their business model. This episode dissects why smart entrepreneurs delay calculating customer acquisition cost and lifetime value until their cash runs out. We look at a specific case where a direct-to-consumer brand scaled revenue to twenty million dollars while losing money on every single order. Lucas and Luna explore the psychological trap of vanity metrics versus real profitability. You will learn how to build a simple spreadsheet that predicts your burn rate before you launch. The conversation covers the hidden costs of returns, shipping, and payment processing that destroy margins overnight. If you are building a startup, this episode gives you the concrete framework to stop guessing and start measuring what matters. #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #StartupFounders #UnitEconomics #CustomerAcquisitionCost #LifetimeValue #DirectToConsumer #CashFlowManagement #StartupFailures #Entrepreneurship101 #ProfitMargins #BurnRate #BusinessStrategy #FinancialModeling #GrowthHacking #SaaS #Ecommerce #FounderLessons Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
First-time founders often confuse growth with scaling. We examine the operational friction that kills startups at the ten-employee mark, using a specific logistics case study to show why process discipline beats hustle culture when you cross from startup to small business. #Scaling #StartupOperations #FounderMindset #BusinessGrowth #OperationalFriction #SmallBusiness #Leadership #ProcessDesign #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #LucasAndLuna #Entrepreneurship #HiringStrategy #CashFlowManagement #CompanyCulture #ProductMarketFit #FounderLessons #GrowthPitfalls Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
First-time founders often fail not because their product is bad, but because they ignore the silent killer of early ventures: operational debt. In this episode, Lucas and Luna explore how small administrative oversights—like missing insurance certificates or unregistered trademarks—derail momentum long before revenue arrives. Using a case study of a health-tech startup that lost six months to compliance delays, we break down the specific legal and financial frameworks every founder must secure pre-launch. This isn't about perfection; it's about removing friction so your team can focus on building, not fixing paperwork. Learn the three critical checks that protect your runway and keep you from burning out before you even open for business. #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #StartupFounders #Entrepreneurship #OperationalDebt #Compliance #LegalMistakes #StartupFailure #RiskManagement #FounderLessons #BusinessStrategy #PreLaunchChecklist #IntellectualProperty #InsuranceForStartups #CompanyFormation #VentureCapital #SmallBusinessTips #LucasAndLuna Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
Most first-time founders don't fail because their product is bad. They fail because they misread the timeline of early traction. In this episode, Lucas and Luna dissect the 'Valley of Despair' that hits between month three and month nine. We look at why a specific group of SaaS founders quit when their growth plateaued, not crashed, and how waiting just sixty more days often turned a failing startup into a profitable one. This isn't about grit for grit's sake. It's about distinguishing between a broken model and a slow-burn customer acquisition cycle. If you're building something today, knowing the difference might save your company. #FirstTimeFounders #StartupMistakes #FounderMindset #GrowthPlateau #SaaSMetrics #CustomerAcquisition #StartupTimeline #Resilience #BusinessStrategy #EarlyStage #VentureCapital #Bootstrapping #ProductMarketFit #Entrepreneurship #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #LucasAndLuna #StartupLessons Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo

Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
