Lucas and Luna sit down at their café table for a daily conversation that treats small business ownership not as a romanticized dream but as a specific, data-driven discipline. Each episode focuses on one measurable question: how a solo founder in retail is navigating cash-flow gaps with merchant cash advances versus SBA microloans, what the latest Bureau of Labor Statistics data on solo-worker productivity actually means for a side-hustling freelancer, or why a specific Etsy seller’s margin compression mirrors patterns in the broader gig economy. They dissect real cases — a plumbing contractor in Phoenix who scaled from one truck to three using a particular CRM, a graphic designer who replaced a full-time income with a Substack and three retainer clients, a food-truck operator whose break-even analysis turned on permit costs and ingredient volatility. Lucas brings the numbers and the regulatory context (IRS thresholds, state-level independent contractor laws, the 2024 SECURE 2.0 chang

The Solo Founder's Guide to Recurring Revenue Moats
Sep 14, 20267 minS4
We dissect how a solo SaaS founder in Austin built a ten thousand dollar monthly recurring revenue engine without venture capital or a sales team. The secret wasn't better marketing, it was structural pricing tiers that turned one-time users into predictable retainers. We break down the specific mechanics of the 'sticky' feature set and why most solo founders fail at retention because they obsess over acquisition instead of unit economics. #SaaSMetrics #RecurringRevenue #SoloFounder #CustomerRetention #PricingStrategy #UnitEconomics #Bootstrapping #MRRGrowth #ChurnReduction #BusinessModelDesign #ProductLedGrowth #SubscriptionEconomy #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #Entrepreneurship #SmallBusinessTips #StartupLessons #LucasAndLuna Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
Most solo founders underprice because they fear rejection, but pricing is actually a signal of quality. We break down the 'premium anchor' strategy used by independent designers who doubled their revenue without acquiring new clients. Learn how to shift from competing on price to competing on perceived value, using real examples from the freelance consulting and creative markets. This episode covers the psychology of high-ticket sales, the math behind margin expansion, and why your first client was not your worst mistake if you structure the offer correctly. #PricingStrategy #SoloFounder #BusinessGrowth #FreelanceTips #ValueBasedPricing #RevenueScaling #ClientAcquisition #EntrepreneurMindset #ProfitMargins #ServiceBusiness #ConsultingLife #CreativeEconomy #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #FinancialFreedom #SideHustleSuccess #MarketingPsychology #LucasAndLuna Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
We talk about the inventory trap that kills solo businesses and how to use it as leverage. The case is a custom furniture maker who turned stagnant stock into a premium service model. We break down the unit economics, the cash flow pivot, and why holding less physical product actually increases your margin. This is a practical guide for any solo founder managing physical goods. #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #SoloFounder #CashFlowManagement #InventoryControl #SmallBusinessTips #UnitEconomics #ServiceModel #CustomFurniture #ProfitMargins #OperationalEfficiency #SupplyChainLite #BusinessStrategy #FinancialPlanning #SoloEntrepreneur #ProductLeverage #RevenueGrowth #BusinessOperations Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
Lucas and Luna explore the specific mechanics of operational friction that quietly kill solo businesses. They examine why 'just working harder' fails when bottlenecks are structural, using a case study of a high-revenue consultant who hit a revenue ceiling not because of demand, but because of process collapse. The conversation drills into identifying the single point of failure in your daily workflow, distinguishing between creative work and administrative debt, and building systems that protect deep focus time without hiring an employee. #SoloFounder #BusinessOperations #OperationalFriction #DeepWork #ProcessDesign #RevenueCeiling #TimeManagement #ConsultingBusiness #AdministrativeDebt #WorkflowAutomation #BottleneckAnalysis #ProductivityHacks #SmallBizStrategy #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #EntrepreneurLife #SystemsThinking #FocusProtection Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
Most solo founders price based on their hourly cost, a strategy that caps income and rewards inefficiency. We examine the economics of value-based pricing through the lens of a specific freelance data strategist who doubled her revenue by stopping the clock entirely. This episode breaks down why tracking hours is often a liability for independent consultants, how to identify your client's real financial pain points, and the three-step framework used to shift from time-for-money trades to outcome-based retainers. If you are a solo operator feeling stuck at a revenue ceiling, this conversation offers a concrete path to restructuring your fees without chasing more clients. #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #SoloFounder #PricingStrategy #ValueBasedPricing #FreelanceEconomics #ConsultingTips #RevenueGrowth #HourlyRateTrap #ClientAcquisition #SmallBusinessAdvice #ServiceBusiness #FinancialLiteracy #BusinessStrategy #ProfitMargins #OperationalEfficiency #EntrepreneurMindset #CashFlowManagement Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo

Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
