Every week, Lucas and Luna sit inside a dimly lit security operations centre — Lucas at a bank of monitors crawling with packet-by-packet traffic maps, Luna leaning in from the shadows — to parse the most consequential cyber events of the past seven days. They do not chase headlines for their own sake. Instead they isolate a single breach, vulnerability disclosure, or regulatory action and walk through the technical root cause, the financial damage (named companies, actual dollar figures), and the organisational failure that allowed it. When a ransomware attack hits a hospital chain, they trace the initial access vector, the ransom demand, the insurance payout, and the post-incident SEC filing. When a zero-day surfaces in a widely deployed VPN appliance, they explain which types of organisations are exposed and what the patch cycle actually looks like from a CISO's perspective. Why Zero Trust Is Failing Its First Big Test
Aug 21, 20268 minS4
Zero trust was supposed to end the era of trusted networks. So why are breaches up and security stocks down? Lucas and Luna dig into a surprising August 2026 earnings call, the shift from prevention to response, and what a 10 percent drop in CrowdStrike in five days says about investor patience. They explore the uncomfortable truth that zero trust may have become a checkbox, not a strategy, and why the next wave of security tools is focusing on the messy middle of a breach. If you work in security, or just watch the sector, this episode gives you a concrete lens on why the market is souring on the very tools it paid billions for. #ZeroTrust #Cybersecurity #CrowdStrike #PaloAltoNetworks #SecurityStocks #BreachResponse #InvestorSentiment #TechEarnings #NetworkSecurity #IdentitySecurity #CloudSecurity #SOC #AIinSecurity #August2026 #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #Technology #CyberDefense Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
Why Security Stocks Are Falling Despite Record Breaches
Aug 20, 202611 minS4
In this episode of The Cybersecurity Podcast, Lucas and Luna dig into a paradox: cyberattacks are at an all-time high, yet security stocks like CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks, and Cloudflare have dropped sharply this week. They explore the disconnect between headline breaches and investor sentiment, the shift toward platform consolidation, and the impact of AI-driven efficiency on demand. With specific data points—CrowdStrike down 12.3 percent in five days, Cloudflare down 11.7 percent—they unpack whether this is a temporary correction or a structural shift. Plus, they discuss the growing role of security researchers as targets, referencing a fake crypto conference lure. The episode offers a grounded, data-rich look at what's really moving the market, and why the narrative of 'more breaches, more spending' may be cracking. #SecurityStocks #CyberMarket #CrowdStrike #PaloAltoNetworks #Cloudflare #InvestorSentiment #PlatformConsolidation #AIEfficiency #CyberSpending #MarketCorrection #TechStocks #CyberSecurity #TechPodcast #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #StockMarket #Investing #CyberThreats Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
Why Security Stocks Are Falling Despite Record Breaches
Aug 19, 20268 minS4
In this episode of The Cybersecurity Podcast, Lucas and Luna dig into a strange market moment: cybersecurity stocks are dropping sharply even as data breaches and ransomware attacks hit record levels. They explore the disconnect through the lens of a major security vendor's recent earnings miss, the impact of AI on security spending, and what it means for CISOs and investors. With the S&P 500 near all-time highs, why are security stocks down 10 percent in a week? Lucas and Luna break down the numbers, discuss the shift from legacy firewall spending to AI-driven security platforms, and consider whether this dip is a buying opportunity or a warning sign. They also touch on the role of cyber insurance, the rise of zero-trust, and the specific case of a fast-growing startup that just raised $100 million despite the market downturn. Tune in for a grounded, data-rich conversation about the business of security in 2026. #CybersecurityStocks #SecurityMarketDip #CyberInsurance #ZeroTrust #AIinSecurity #EarningsMiss #CISO #TechStocks #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #CybersecurityPodcast #MarketAnalysis #InvestingInSecurity #DataBreach #Ransomware #SecuritySpending #CloudSecurity #NetworkSecurity Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
Why Security Teams Are Turning to Zero-Knowledge Proofs
Aug 18, 20268 minS4
Zero-knowledge proofs have moved from cryptography textbooks into mainstream security operations. In this episode, Lucas and Luna break down how ZK proofs let you verify data without exposing it, and why that's becoming a game-changer for breach response and data sharing. They explore a real-world example: a company proving it fixed a vulnerability without revealing the vulnerability itself, and why regulators and auditors are starting to accept this approach. They also connect it to the recent surge in zero-trust adoption and the pressure on security budgets. If you've heard of zero-knowledge proofs and wondered what they actually mean for your job, this episode makes it concrete. #ZeroKnowledgeProofs #Cryptography #Cybersecurity #DataPrivacy #ZeroTrust #SecurityOperations #BreachResponse #AuditCompliance #RegulatoryTech #SecurityArchitecture #Technology #Business #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #CyberPodcast #SecurityPodcast #DataProtection #Verification Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
Spyware Alerts Hit Apple Users at Unprecedented Scale
Aug 17, 202612 minS4
In this episode of The Cybersecurity Podcast, Lucas and Luna dive into the recent wave of spyware alerts hitting Apple users—an unprecedented number, according to investigators. They break down how these alerts work, what the warnings actually mean, and why this signals a shift in the spyware landscape. With a look at the latest threat intelligence from companies like CrowdStrike and Palo Alto Networks, they examine the growing sophistication of commercial spyware and the challenges of defending against it. The conversation also covers the implications for enterprise security and the rise of zero-click exploits. Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
