The Comic Carnival Podcast

Hey folks, remember us?

We actually recorded this episode months and months ago, but it got lost among...let's just say "the events of 2020 so far" and did not get published. This is definitely Mike's fault...

What was last, now is first. Welcome to Comic Carnival's Comic Junkies for 2020!

This time, we try to talk about the DC implosion and explosion of the 70's, but...well, the point is we tried.

Also...

Hey, look at that! Another new episode already. Not QUITE in time for Black Friday, but I really tried.

This week it's all about Star Wars as we geek out about the comics, and The Mandalorian, which only had...

Mike here! I'm sorry the new episode has taken so long to get out. I'm working on that. I left in the "community calendar" parts so that you can all shame me for being so slow.

On to the episode...David...

We're...let's call it "hard at work" on getting the next episode of the podcast into your ears, but while you wait we have a special treat! Tim was recently able to sit down with the organizers of the upcoming...

Sorry for the delay folks, hopefully it'll be worth the wait. This week, we talk the fanzine dedicated to all things Godzilla, G-Fan!

We also go over some of the comics news of the day, play a "fun"...

Entirely too much going on this week for my normal levels of snark. This week sees the return of both The ShakeUps AND Derwin Lester of Divided By Zero Books! Be sure to stick around to the end for a cool...

I don't know about you, but this is the episode I've been waiting for...because editing this podcast makes me want to drink.

Mostly, I'm going to use this opportunity to remind you all that THIS Saturday, May...

Holy cow. 20 episodes. Feels like some kind of Milestone to us, but if you disagree, we won't give you any Static.

(This joke has nothing to do with the episode)

This episode, DAVID REDDICK RETURNS...

Let us just start by saying that Mike and Kelsey barely speak English, and we are very sorry.

Comic Carnival Community Calendar

2/16 - David Reddick returns! 12-6pm David will be signing the...

That's right, I hijacked the show notes so I could title this episode with the name of my other podcast. So Ha Ha. Also in this episode, jokes go wrong, fun is had, and Chip Zdarsky drops us a message about his...

Kelsey's back this week, so that's cool. Also, we talk about stuff, and Tim tells a joke.

Because Tim always tells a joke...

We have a mammoth episode this week, as we talk with PS Barlow about his comic GI Low, and Derwin Lester about Divided By Zero books, and all of the cool stuff that both are up to. Then...there's Ryan. That's right...

We're still catching up on getting episodes out. Mike is behind on...well, life in general, really. But he's already started editing Episode 16, so we should be back on track soon.

This week We start with an...

This episode being so late is totally Mike's fault. You should be sure to make him feel bad about it.

After you've done that (and listened to the episode), make sure you go see Sammy Terry, live on Facebook...
