Is Oklahoma State LEGIT After Beating WVU? Mestemaker’s Heisman Night Sparks Big 12 Talk
Oklahoma State just went into Morgantown and beat West Virginia 41-24. First Big 12 win since 2023. First conference win of the Eric Morris era. Now the question every Cowboy and Big 12 fan is asking: is this team actually real? @Thecgatour sits down with Still Firing’s CK Silmon and Chase Leadford to break down the win that flipped the OSU conversation. Drew Mestemaker: 389 yards, 3 TDs. Wyatt Young: 192 yards and a score. A second-half takeover on the road. Was this the best performance of the Morris era — or just another hot night before the league gets harder? We hit the Tulsa hangover, the Oregon upset, the 59-0 Murray State blowout, and what the WVU comeback actually proved. Then the bigger stuff: where Mestemaker ranks among Big 12 QBs, whether Young is the new go-to guy, what still has to get better before UCF, and if these Cowboys can crash the Big 12 race. Still Firing called WVU the real test. OSU passed it. Now what? 0:00 Intro 2:15 How legit was the 41–24 win?
