Founded in 1890 with over 125 years of history, La Celia is the oldest winery in the Uco Valley and the first winery in the region to plant the Malbec variety! Federico holds a degree in Oenology from Universidad Technologica Nacional de Mendoza + has over 19 years' experience in the wine industry, beginning his career as a lab technician + process and plant industries technician. Through the years he's explored various aspects of wine, serving as assistant winemaker at renowned Argentine wineries and as Head Sommelier at the Diplomatic Hotel Mendoza. Since 2011, he's been part of the largest South American wine agency which is VSPT wine group and currently wears the role of Brand Ambassador for their Argentine Brands portfolio. It's most evident that Federico is a very busy guy and he shares his stories of winemaking, extensive travel to many countries because of his Ambassador role, all while trying to balance his work at La Celia, his travel and his personal life.
