Auburn Football is only five games into the Alex Golesh era, so this is not the time to start calling for another head coaching change. But that does not mean the evaluation stops. There is a major difference between saying Auburn should fire a first year head coach and acknowledging that the results of Year 1 could create enormous pressure heading into Year 2. If Auburn finishes with seven wins, there will be questions about whether Golesh can eventually get the Tigers to a championship level. If Auburn finishes with five wins, the conversation becomes completely different. Then the question becomes whether Auburn can even get back to consistent bowl eligibility. That is not where this program wants to be. The biggest concern right now is personnel evaluation, particularly on offense.
