They say there’s two subjects never to bring up in polite conversation - religion and politics. Well, that’s exactly what this podcast is going to cover - my two favorite subjects. Throw in a little bit of banjo music and you’ve got a great listening experience coming your way. I urge you to learn along with me. I don’t claim to be an expert in any field, but I do desire to explore exciting concepts and ideas that shape our lives, culture and relationship with God. That’s why I seek to bring on a variety of different guests, even a few folks I’m going to have sharp disagreements with from time to time. We might talk about anything ranging from reformed theology to the electoral college. My hope is that God might use this podcast to deepen your faith, broaden your mind, and have a little fun while doing so.

I finally got to meet Congressman Tom Tiffany! Tom is running for governor here in Wisconsin and enjoys the coveted Kevin Thompson full endorsement. Episode #96
It's ok to be a Christian, as long as you keep in within the four walls of your church or within safety of your own home. But, your religion has no place in the public square, government, education or in any other "secular" realm. Yet, our Scripture commands us to go into ALL the world and preach the gospel. We must not give up the public square, no matter what the consequences. Joining us this week is an evangelist who has boldly proclaimed his faith only to an face angry, violent mob. This week, Ben Schettler shares his experience sharing the gospel with people in New York City. Ben not only encourages us to be bold in our faith, but models that courage for us. Last week I had the chance to attend a meet and greet with Mitchell Berman, running for Congress in Wisconsin's first district. I asked if I could as these questions for the podcast and he agreed. First, I asked about his view concerning the division within the Democratic Party over democratic socialism and then his thoughts on how to win over people like myself in the middle. Remember to vote on August 11! Recommended Resource: Mitchell Berman for Congress
