We explore the myths, legends, and history of the Wild West's most famous gunslingers, starting with Wild Bill Hickok, the man who engaged in the first technical gunfight. Hickok's actual life defied the stereotypes of his legend as much as it lived up to them. We will be examining Hickok and other gunslingers through a lens of scrutiny as we attempt to separate fact from fiction. We first delve into the McCanles Massacre , one of the West’s most mysterious gunfights, among other key moments in Hickok’s life. This podcast is made possible
