Military Drills on Greek Beaches | Texas News
Tourists on Crete’s beaches got an unexpected front-row seat to a massive multinational military drill called Medusa 15, as Greece and Egypt led a coalition including France, Italy, and Cyprus in high-octane exercises featuring drone attacks, fast boat landings, and live-fire simulations right on the coast. Greek forces kept spectators at bay, while observers from Serbia, UAE, Bahrain, and Mozambique watched — including Egypt’s helicopter carrier, the Gamal Abdel Nasser.
