Growing On Social Media Just Changed Forever | Ep 431
Sep 2, 202615 minS4
If you want more consistent leads from social media but feel stuck because your content isn't reaching or converting the right people, this episode shows you how to fix it. I've been building my personal brand online since 2016, and something has changed dramatically over the last 18 months. Social media is becoming less about how many followers you have and more about how relevant your message is to the person watching. At the same time, AI has made generic content incredibly easy to produce, which means being a real, recognisable human has become even more valuable. In this episode, I break down why I believe financial advisers, mortgage brokers and financial services entrepreneurs need to start building their personal brands now, and the simple content system I'd use to do it. I'll show you my 40/40/20 content framework for balancing awareness, trust and conversion I'll break down the 3 stages of the content funnel and explain why constantly trying to sell is costing you opportunities I'll explain why showing your face, opinions, personality and lifestyle can build the trust that generic AI-generated content can't I'll show you why you don't need thousands of followers, expensive equipment or highly edited videos to generate leads I'll explain how consistent content can help you build a small but mighty audience that already knows, likes and trusts you before they ever make an enquiry You can keep relying on paid leads and increasingly expensive advertising, or you can start building an audience that becomes a long-term asset for your business. Stop Paying For A Website That Won't Get You A Single Client | Ep 430
Aug 26, 202611 minS4
I've spent thousands on websites thinking a more professional-looking business would generate more enquiries. It didn't. The problem was simple: a website doesn't create demand, it handles demand that already exists. In this episode, I break down what I'd build instead, why you can get it live in an afternoon, and the five things I believe every adviser landing page needs to turn attention into enquiries. Why I stopped relying on websites to generate leads and what I learnt from getting this wrong myself The 5 things I put on a landing page to make the message clear, relevant and easy to act on How I tell whether I have a traffic problem or a conversion problem before spending more money on marketing Why I deliberately make my messaging more specific instead of trying to appeal to everybody How I use one clear call to action to make it as simple as possible for someone to become an enquiry I also explain why I still have websites, where they fit into my longer-term strategy, and why I'd prioritise building a landing page that generates opportunities before investing thousands into a bigger website. How to Go Directly Authorised as a Mortgage Adviser | Ep 429
Aug 19, 202618 minS4
If you want more control over your mortgage business but feel stuck under the restrictions of a network, this episode shows you what going directly authorised really involves. I'm sharing my first-hand experience of moving between DA and AR models, the lessons learned along the way, and the systems I now use to run my directly authorised firm with greater simplicity, control and freedom. What going DA actually involves — from the FCA application and compliance support to PI insurance, reporting and personal guarantees. The compliance setup that simplified my business — including why having multiple providers became costly and inefficient, and what I changed. Why mortgage and protection clubs matter — including a real mistake that cost my business £3,000 in commission. The technology you'll need — covering compliance software, client portals, sourcing, electronic signatures, CRM, automation and adviser payments. The real DA vs AR trade-off — why becoming directly authorised may not dramatically increase profitability, but can give you far greater autonomy over your systems, processes and business. If you're considering moving from AR to DA, this episode gives you a practical behind-the-scenes look at the costs, systems and responsibilities to consider before making the move. I Had to Change My Business Before It Broke Me | Ep 428
Aug 12, 202611 minS4
If you want a profitable business that gives you more freedom but feel stuck because everything still depends on you, this episode shows you what needs to change. From the outside, my business looked successful. It was making money, generating leads and supporting my family. Behind the scenes, I was stressed, anxious and had built a business I hated running. In this episode, I'm sharing a powerful extract from my conversation with James Martin and reflect on the moment I realised something had to change. Why making money doesn't automatically mean you've built a successful business How I reached the point of pulling over on the A12 before going home because the stress had become too much Why profit gives you the ability to hire better people, reinvest and build a stronger business What makes a brokerage genuinely valuable; predictable leads, consistent conversion, strong retention and less dependence on the founder Why constantly changing what you're doing can be just as damaging as refusing to change; sometimes a predictable, "boring" business is exactly what you need The goal isn't simply to grow revenue. It's to build a well-oiled business that can operate without you being involved in every decision, every client and every problem. 3 Ways to Generate More Revenue From Your Existing Clients | Ep 427
Aug 5, 202617 minS4
You could be sitting on hundreds of thousands of pounds in additional revenue, without generating a single new lead. In this episode, I break down the 3 strategies we've implemented inside my own mortgage brokerage to generate more revenue from the clients, leads and data we already have. Watch this episode on YouTube for the full experience How improving our existing sales process increased revenue per mortgage case from around £1,500 to more than £4,500 Why consistent follow-up across calls, emails, WhatsApp and voice notes matters How we're re-engaging a database of 6,500+ old leads The simple "Now, Future or Not Me" WhatsApp message generating responses How just 6.7% database re-engagement could create around £400,000 in additional revenue How we're going back to existing protection clients to uncover further opportunities Why you should optimise the business already coming through the door before spending more money generating leads This isn't theory. I walk you through the actual numbers, processes, messages and automations we're using inside the brokerage. Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
