Matilda started Bristol Girls Surf Club after moving to Bristol during lockdown, creating a community for women to connect through surfing and helping make the sport feel more accessible, regardless of experience or ability. Alongside this, her work at The Wave Project sees her delivering surf therapy programmes with young people, bringing together her background in therapy, mental health, and surfing.
