Becoming the Well
We all go through dry spells in faith. The times when habits, old stories, or even serving at a church just aren’t enough. The truth is, they're never enough, and you'll only find yourself still thirsty and empty by Monday. That's because, as Pastor Justin reminds us, this thirst can only be quenched by the living water from Christ Himself. The real satisfaction isn’t found in checking boxes or just receiving a dose of encouragement once a week; it comes from seeking Him as your constant source day after day. Scriptures Referenced Jeremiah 2:1-13; 29:11; Matthew 5:6; John 7:1-6, 7:37-39; Galatians 5:1; Ephesians 2:6; Hebrews 11:6 Key Insights True spiritual satisfaction only comes through an ongoing, authentic thirst for Jesus. Routines, good deeds, and temporary pleasures never truly satisfy. Only Jesus truly fills us. To be sustained, we need to be filled daily, not just once a week or on special occasions. Fixing dryness means returning to the source, letting go of DIY solutions, and boldly trusting Jesus to overflow through you. Passing down faith to family and community requires modeling daily dependence, not just knowledge or activity.
