Omar Musa is a Malaysian-Australian author, poet, rapper and visual artist. His most recent novel, Fierceland, has just won the Miles Franklin Award. This is an encore broadcast of an interview with him back in 2014 soon after the release of his first novel, Here Come the Dogs.
