Mark 5:21-43 - Only Believe
We've often heard the phrase, "Seeing is believing." Is that always true? There are many days in the Christian life where we will have to trust and believe in what we have not seen. There are some other days where we will need to trust and believe in what we have not seen yet. As we gather this morning and look to our next section in the Gospel of Mark, we are confronted with the story of a man named Jairus whose daughter is dying. Between delays, doubters, and his now-deceased daughter, Jairus must determine whether he will press forward with Christ as His help, or if he will abandon his faith and succumb to his circumstances.
