The same shade can bring up completely different feelings, memories and impressions in different people. What happens when we start paying attention to those responses? In episode three of The Mediumship Sessions, Donna King and I continue our exploration of psychic development, this time through colour, cards and practical experimentation. We try colour readings together, have a spontaneous experiment with a playing card, and talk about why memorising meanings can sometimes leave us so busy thinking that we lose touch with what we feel.   The Courage to Be Yourself: Trusting Spirit with Albert Krikken

  What happens when the life you’ve worked so hard to build no longer feels like your own? In this episode of Soul Sync, I’m joined by medium, teacher and transformational coach Albert Krikken for a personal conversation about identity, belonging, and finding the courage to follow a path that feels true to you. When Albert’s mother became seriously ill, his fear of losing her led him to seek out a medium. That encounter began a journey into mediumship, and a search for a connection he hoped could continue beyond her physical life. He shares how that relationship has evolved, why automatic writing became important to him, and what he has learnt about surrendering expectation. Our conversation also explores the pressure to succeed and the fear of being seen differently. Albert speaks openly about pursuing approval, experiencing a profound spiritual turning point, and gradually becoming willing to share a part of himself that some people in his life knew little about. I share my own experiences of building a successful business while privately feeling unfulfilled, and the role I believe the spirit world played in my decision to change direction.   What Mediumship Teaches Us About Being Alive | Steven Trolland

  What happens when we stop trying so hard to find peace and allow ourselves a moment simply to be? In this heartfelt episode of Soul Sync, I’m joined by Scottish medium and teacher Steven Trolland for a conversation about grief, the soul, and the presence of those we love. Following the death of his brother, Steven found himself overwhelmed by grief and struggling to meditate. Then, sitting on a hillside overlooking a loch in the Scottish Highlands, he took off his headphones, breathed out and experienced a profound sense of belonging within the life around him. He describes that moment as the beginning of his healing. One thought runs through our conversation: Steven’s belief that the soul can help heal the mind. We explore what that means to him, the space we make for our own nature, and how a quieter awareness can emerge when we ease the pressure to make something happen. We also talk about his background in competitive snowboarding, the relationship between nerves and presence, and the challenges of learning to trust ourselves in mediumship.
