Lucas and Luna explore the rise of the one-person business economy, where individuals trade corporate security for the freedom of going solo. Each episode examines a specific aspect of solopreneurship: how a freelance graphic designer in Berlin built a €300K annual retainer practice without employees, why a former McKinsey consultant launched a solo law firm specializing in digital rights, and what the IRS data on Schedule C filers reveals about income volatility among independent workers. Lucas brings the numbers—tax implications, healthcare costs, retirement strategies for the self-employed—while Luna challenges assumptions about burnout, isolation, and the myth of 'being your own boss.' They dissect tools like Stripe Atlas, Gusto, and Notion, and debate whether platforms like Upwork and Fiverr are pathways or traps. The show is for the part-time freelancer eyeing full-time independence, the side-hustler scaling up, or the wage employee wondering if they have what it takes. No motiva

The Solo Operator's Invisible Insurance Policy
Sep 13, 202610 minS4
When a freelance graphic designer lost her laptop to theft, she realized that traditional business insurance didn't cover her most critical asset: data. This episode explores how solo entrepreneurs are turning to cyber liability and specialized data recovery policies to protect their digital livelihoods. We look at the specific costs of downtime for independent workers, the gap in standard coverage, and why buying cyber insurance is no longer optional for anyone who lives online. Featuring insights from an insurance broker who specializes in gig economy risks and the real-world case of a consultant who saved six months of work thanks to a robust backup protocol. #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #SolopreneurLife #CyberLiability #DataRecovery #FreelanceInsurance #DigitalAssets #RiskManagement #IndependentWork #TechForSolo #BusinessResilience #GigEconomy #CloudBackup #IntellectualProperty #SoloConsultant #OperationalRisk #DigitalSecurity #SmallBizTips Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
Most solopreneurs compete on price or speed, leaving them vulnerable to AI and larger agencies. This episode explores how independent consultants build invisible moats through deep operational integration and proprietary data assets. We look at the specific case of a solo tax strategist who embedded her workflow into her clients' ERP systems, making her indispensable rather than replaceable. Lucas and Luna break down the mechanics of this sticky positioning, why it protects margins during inflationary periods, and how you can start building your own structural advantage without hiring a team. #Solopreneur #BusinessStrategy #CompetitiveAdvantage #InvisibleMoat #IndependentConsultant #ClientRetention #OperationalIntegration #PricingPower #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #SoloFounder #ServiceBusiness #StickyClients #DataAssets #WorkflowDesign #ProfitMargins #EconomicResilience #ConsultingTips Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
Most solopreneurs obsess over how to land a new client, but few have a plan for how to leave one. In this episode, we explore the mechanics of a graceful client exit, using the case of a solo financial auditor who walked away from a steady five-figure monthly retainer without burning bridges. We break down the specific contract clauses that protect your reputation, the timeline for handing off work, and why leaving well is actually the best marketing you can do for your next venture. If you are tired of trading time for money and want to build a business that doesn't collapse when you say no, this conversation is for you. #SolopreneurLife #ClientExitStrategy #FreelanceBusiness #ContractNegotiation #ProfessionalBoundaries #SoloConsulting #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #RevenueRetention #ServiceDesign #IndependentWork #ClientRelationships #BusinessGrowth #FreelancerTips #EntrepreneurMindset #WorkLifeBalance #ConsultingEthics #FexingoNetwork Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
Most solopreneurs treat pricing as an afterthought, but the real leverage lies in how you structure your fees. We look at a specific case of a solo financial planner who shifted from hourly billing to a value-based retainer model, doubling her effective rate without losing clients. This episode breaks down the psychological and structural shift required to move away from trading time for money, focusing on the concrete steps needed to justify higher prices through clearer outcomes rather than vague promises. #Solopreneur #PricingStrategy #ValueBasedBilling #FreelanceFinance #BusinessGrowth #LucasAndLuna #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #IndependentConsultant #RevenueModel #ClientRetention #HourlyVsRetainer #SmallBusinessTips #EconomicMindset #ServiceDesign #ProfessionalServices #SoloFounder #MoneyManagement Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
Why the most successful solopreneurs are deliberately capping their growth to protect their margins. We look at the specific financial mechanics of why taking on more clients often destroys profit per hour, and how intentional constraints create a sustainable one-person business model. #SolopreneurLife #OnePersonBusiness #ProfitMargins #FreelanceFinance #IndependentConsulting #BusinessSustainability #LucasAndLuna #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #ClientCapacity #HourlyRateMath #ServiceBusiness #SoloFounder #GrowthConstraints #OperationalEfficiency #FinancialHealth #WorkLifeBalance #StrategicScaling Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo

Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
