  To Stick Out What do I hold on to and what am I willing to lose or let go of? Daniel 1:9-10 Now God had brought Daniel into the favor and goodwill of the chief of the eunuchs. And the chief of the eunuchs said to Daniel, “I fear my lord the king, who has appointed your food and drink..”For why should he see your faces looking worse than the young men who are your age? Then you would endanger my head before the king The will of God makes you stick out!! Gods will for your life is truly found in the sacrifice of pleasure for spiritual increase So how do we stick out? Matthew 26:39 He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.” It’s the place of total surrender to something divine to pick you up and empower you to literally walk out what HE has appointed for you. The will of God is fulfilled In our lives when the Holy Spirit is in charge of our decisions, desires, direction and diet. Ultimately making us STICK OUT!!

  When God’s will isn’t clear… Key verse- Proverbs 19:21 Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the LORD that will stand. 1. Identify- Look at the main picture, plan and promise. Separate the mission from the noise. Hebrews 12:2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Philippians 1:6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. 2. Clarify- Remove confusion and simplify. The enemy wants you to get lost in mixed messages. The Lord confirms His word! 1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is not a God of confusion but of peace. Matthew 7:7-8 Ask, and It Will Be Given “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. 3. Magnify- Focus on the Lord, His power in you, and His promises. Colossians 1:27 To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Psalms 105:4 Seek the LORD and his strength; seek his presence continually! Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Discipline makes the difference Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

  3 Ways You Miss God’s Will God’s will isn’t always easy, but it’s always good! 1. We over-spiritualize God’s will Matthew 12:38-39 Then certain of the scribes and Pharisees answered him, saying, Teacher, we would see a sign from thee. But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it but the sign of Jonah the prophet: It’s when we try to sound spiritual but we are actually overshadowing our disobedience? To know Gods will is to know his heart!! You can’t ask for open doors with closed bibles!! 2. We overanalyze The more we analyze, the less we obey! - walk by faith not by understanding! 3. We assume that hard means wrong Gods will looks more like sacrifice than self satisfaction!! Jesus didn’t say take up your pillow and follow me, he said pick up your cross!
