Mystic Symbol of Ancient America, Christians vs Gnostics, The Lady, Mother Mary, & Weird Science w/ Badgerland Legends
Things are getting strange around here... It would seem that the "Mark of the Mound Builders," aka the Mystic Symbol, has come back from history and is trying to speak to us... Guest Jeff from Badgerland Legends joins me for what starts as a routine query into the ancient world but soon takes an unexpected turn. As we were pulling on a particular thread of research following markings on the Monhegan Stone, ancient routes from the Atlantic into the Great Lakes, and standing stones in Wisconsin, we struck podcasting gold: Suddenly, what can only be deemed a classic synchronicity occurred, opening a new line of investigation, one that is already producing some unexpected connections. It would seem that a part 2 will also be required. Also, how do we know if Christians or Gnostics passed down our writings and ancient mysteries? This is a question we will continue to dive into on this channel. We also venture into the mysterious appearances of “the Lady,” from Chris Bledsoe’s reported encounters to the famous apparitions at Zeitoun in Egypt. When a feminine figure appears above a church, what establishes her identity? We explore parallels with older goddess traditions, Templar lore, and visionary accounts associated with figures such as Jung, Crowley, and Jack Parsons. Finally, we touch on stories linking technological breakthroughs with unusual inspiration, including Seymour Cray’s accounts of elves and Geordie Rose’s descriptions of advanced computing. This one goes deep into the esoteric. Ancient relics, recurring symbols, apparitions, and strange technology all converge around a mystery that seems determined to be noticed.
