52 | The Platform You Should Actually Be On (It's Probably Not New)
Oct 5, 202610 min
Chasing the next trending platform is expensive, exhausting, and usually the wrong move, and if you've felt that pull lately, this episode is your permission to stop. Christy makes the case for the three platforms most service providers already have access to and consistently underuse: your blog, your newsletter, and your podcast, and breaks down the real difference between reach and relationship. In this episode: Why chasing new platforms resets your visibility clock every single time The three owned, algorithm-proof platforms worth your energy, and how to know which one fits you The real difference between reach and relationship Why a smaller, engaged audience beats a bigger, distracted following How to make one idea feel cohesive across formats: framework in your newsletter, steps in your podcast, implementation in your blog A gut-check question for whether your visibility strategy is actually yours Resources & Links Mentioned Grab the Visionary Console app (link: https://virtuallystructured.kit.com/visionaryconsole ) The Free Visionary Society Community (link: https://www.skool.com/the-visionary-society-9272/about ) Take the Where is your time actually going? 51 | How Much Structure Is Actually Enough?
Sep 28, 202612 min
Somewhere between "nothing's written down" and "a twenty-two-step checklist nobody follows anymore" is the actual amount of structure your business needs — and most service providers have never been given a real test for finding it. In this episode, Christy breaks down the one-line test she uses with her own business and with clients: you have enough structure when the important things happen consistently, without living in your head. Too little and too much cause the exact same problem — they both drain energy you don't have to spare. In this episode: The one-line test for whether you have enough structure Why too little and too much structure both leave you tired How to tell if something's a missing system or an ignored one — with real examples of each Why building for where you are now beats building for the business you're planning to have A real look at how this test shaped the way features roll out inside VELA A few other rooms you can find Christy in this quarter, and why the same "right amount, not everything" message keeps showing up Resources & Links Mentioned Grab the VELA app (link: https://virtuallystructured.kit.com/visionaryconsole ) The Free Visionary Society Community (link: https://www.skool.com/the-visionary-society-9272/about ) Take the Where is your time actually going? 50 | Two Ways to Grow: More Clients or Better Systems
Sep 21, 202611 min
If your plan for growth is just "get more clients," this episode is going to challenge that a little — in a good way. There are really only two ways to grow a service-based business: add more clients, or build a better system around the ones you already have. Most people only ever pull the first lever, and it costs them more than they realize. In this episode: The two real levers of business growth, and why most people only pull one The buckle test: how to know in thirty seconds whether you have a client problem or a systems problem The objection I hear more than any other — "I'll build systems later" — and why later never actually comes Why adding clients to an under-built system multiplies stress instead of revenue Why sustainable systems need room to flex as you grow, not just work at your current size Why the Visionary Society is a room of colleagues, not a membership — and what that actually means How this exact test shaped the way VELA got built If you've ever wondered whether you need more clients or just a better business, this one's for you. 49 | Content That Compounds vs. Content That Disappears
Sep 14, 202616 min
Ever feel like you're constantly creating content but never actually get ahead? You're not imagining it. In this episode, I break down why some content keeps working for you long after you hit publish, and why most content just quietly disappears — and it has nothing to do with how good it is. In this episode: The real difference between a "moment" and an "asset" in your content Why Pinterest works completely differently from every other platform — and what that means for how long your content actually lasts Why the gap between compounding and disappearing content doesn't show up right away — and why it matters more the longer you wait The three-step test for turning a moment into an asset The simple system I use to track what's actually worked, so I'm not starting from scratch every time A bigger shift I'm seeing in the online space — why people are choosing smaller, more focused communities over being everywhere at once An invitation into the Visionary Society, plus upcoming bundles/summits and the next VIP CEO planning intensive If you've ever asked yourself "didn't I already write something about this?" — this episode is for you. 48 | Hiring Too Early vs. Too Late — How to Actually Know
Sep 7, 202610 min
Everyone knows they need systems and structure. It's usually the one thing they think they can keep pushing into the future — until they realize they can't, not if they want real traction or real growth. Hiring runs into the exact same trap. This week: a quick update on a shift in my own marketing — moving from trying to be everywhere myself into contributing to bundles and summits (and a spring bundle of my own I'm genuinely excited about) — and then the real topic: why most small business owners hire too early, what hiring too late costs instead, and the actual signal that tells you which window you're in. In this episode: Why I'm shifting my own marketing toward bundles and summits, and my own event coming next spring A heads-up that this show is moving into seasons too — expect the occasional skip week or guest episode, especially during Q4 Why most small business owners hire too early — and what that actually looks like The opposite failure: hiring too late, and what it costs The real signal for knowing when you're actually ready (hint: it's not how busy you feel) What's growing in the Visionary Society and Visionary Console right now Resources & Links Mentioned Grab the Visionary Console app (link: https://virtuallystructured.kit.com/visionaryconsole ) The Free Visionary Society Community (link: https://www.skool.com/the-visionary-society-9272/about ) Take the Where is your time actually going? Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
