Today’s podcast was a complete surprise, as my neighbors told me they were already on this walk! It sounded like such a great cause, I felt bad I hadn’t heard anything about it. The more texts I received about it, I decided to charge some gear and get up to Bonneville Point to meet them at the end of their 15 mile journey, most of the last 8 miles were uphill on a sunny day! Why does this kind of activism go unnoticed? Why are so many people complying in advance? What can you do to help this grassroots project? Everything you need to know is right H ERE. If you’re between here and Twin Falls, you can join part of the walk in the next week or two? Susan will be taking over that stretch, so Emily can get some rest and rotate back in. Want to help, but can’t do the walk? Show up and bring them water and inspiration! Provide some shelter or rest along the way. If not, the easiest was to help is to D ONATE . They’re only 459 miles into their journey, it’s not too late to help. This is a great way to find community and support, building small teams from city to city. Keep updated on the amazing journey started by Emily Waugh and her mother on the FACEBOOK page. 3028 miles to go, and there are so many ways you can help! Plus, hiking is fun!

She Likes To Go Slow Podcast : Slow Down and Listen
For many, many weeks, I’ve been working on a secret project for work. As we celebrate our 25th Anniversary this year, I’ve scoured tons of files, laptops, and CD’s for some of our best content. We’ll be featuring this Thanksgiving weekend starting at 1pm MST, you can stream it HERE. My friend Kristine Wicker worked with me years ago, here is our discussion of some of our backstage radio memories.

Episode #31
When Wynonna ‘s PR team reached out to me for a possible interview slot, I didn’t waste any time requesting a spot! Wynonna is one of the strongest persevering women in the music industry. I wish our visit could have been so much longer, but I was so honored to be part of her interview schedule. She still managed to be quite intimate with her answers, including time singing with The Judds, and how much she misses her mother. Wynonna is appearing August 22nd at Boise’s Western Idaho Fair ! I love interviewing people. There’s something so exciting about watching that phone light and waiting for it to ring, when you know an amazing person is on the other end! I’m sorry it’s been a minute since uploading a podcast, hope to do more soon! Podcasts are sponsored by Donner Music! I have a new Hush Pro electric guitar that is a dream, I will be reviewing it soon! This is an amazing company with quality/affordable pedals, guitars, and keyboards.

A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
