Then it was an uphill struggle on Cycling Road before returning to Saffron City where we could finally access Silph Co. Navigating that maze and facing off again with both our rival AND Giovanni, we drive Team Rocket out of town so we can battle Sabrina for the Marsh Badge! Then, we cover 9 episodes of Season 1 of the anime where Ash and co catch up with Koga while we caught up with Ash with Sabrina and then we see him also explore the Safari Zone and a Cycling Zone.   We've earned the 5th badge in Hoenn in our playthrough of Gen 3 and so now to start the journey there in the manga and anime. First, in the manga, we finally catch up with Ruby, who we last left sleeping in a car a while ago. He finally starts winning some ribbons in a contest before dealing with a tunnel collapse. Then, in the anime, a new Pokemon joins the team, Ash actually returns to battle someone for once out of all the times he's claimed he would, and May takes on another contest.   Routes Through Pokemon - Route 27

  We've caught up in ReRouted and some RTP Adventures after the summer break and so it is time to finally dive back into Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald where our hosts chase after the 5th gym badge! But first...the Desert!!! Fossils are found and something strange appears in Emerald giving Shea quite the challenge to get his fossil. From there, a revist to the Devon Corporation to get the fossils revived and then it's back to Petalburg to finally face Norman, our father. The leg, being a little short, Ruby goes on a quest to breed as many Wobuffet as she can, hoping to hatch a shiny, and we discover that New Muaville wasn't just a creation for the Manga. After the episode we catch up with Violet and Hanako getting prepared for the Cerulean Gym.   RTP Adventures - Ruby and Sapphire Part 14

  We came back from our summer vacation with a ReRouted episode and now it's finally time to catch up to where we're at in the games Ruby and Sapphire (and Emerald) in both the Manga and Anime! In the Manga we get the legend of Kyogre and Groudon before following Sapphire as she joins Flannery against Team Aqua. The Volcano is halted and they need to restart it. Team Magma is there to help. Then, Sapphire and Flannery rest and recover and battle. In the Anime, we finally get May's attempt at the contest. Afterward we meet a Cheer Squad, run into some Numel, and Ash and co have a battle atop Mt. Chimney just like we did in the games and Sapphire in the manga. This all leads to Ash meeting Flannery and attempting to earn his Heat Badge! Stay tuned afterward to catch up with Violet and Rosella's journey back to Cerulean!
