Ep. 74 | “Do Not Judge” Doesn’t Mean What You Think (Matthew 7:1–6)
“Do not judge” may be one of the most quoted—and most misunderstood—statements Jesus ever made. Was Jesus teaching Christians never to recognize sinful behavior or make moral judgments? In Matthew 7:1–6, Jesus doesn’t forbid discernment. He condemns hypocritical, self-righteous judgment. In this episode, we examine the difference between condemnation—which belongs to God—and biblical discernment, which every Christian needs. We’ll also discover why Jesus tells us to remove the beam from our own eye before helping remove the splinter from someone else’s. Christians are called to recognize truth, confront sin humbly, and pursue restoration—never superiority. Fish hard. Follow Christ. _______________________________________________________________ SUPPORT RIVERSIDE HERE: https://www.patreon.com/cw/riversideministry/membership RIVERSIDE ETSY SHOP: https://www.riversidestorefront.etsy.com YOUTUBE CHANNEL: https://www.youtube.com/@Riverside.ministry
