This fall, we’re beginning a new series through the book of Jonah called God’s Pursuing Grace . Jonah is a story about a God who relentlessly pursues people with his grace—even people who run from him, resist him, and would rather keep his grace to themselves. But as we’ll discover, God’s grace is not only for other people ; it is for our own hearts . Jonah invites us to each reflect and ask: Do I really understand the heart of God? Do I love the people God loves? Am I willing to see others the way God sees them? As we will see in our study of Jonah, it is when we are personally gripped by God’s pursuing grace that our hearts will be be gripped by God’s pursuing grace for others.
