About this podcast

Welcome to the Real Midlife podcast! A podcast for women discovering we never quite…arrive. Because aren’t we always in the middle of something? Shifting motherhood roles. Evolving relationships. Changing bodies. Ongoing transitions. And that burning question, what am I supposed to be doing now? Mikala Albertson is a family practice doctor turned author who writes about women's issues in midlife. Jenny Albers is a former social worker turned writer who is navigating all the transitions of midlife, including returning to the classroom. Together, they dive into the heart of midlife—from the hard to the hilarious—discussing parenting older kids, relationships, health & well-being, and evolution & purpose. And of course, every episode includes lots laughter.
