Episode #226
Did we enjoy a RESIDENT EVIL movie at long last? Well, we never saw the other ones, but we couldn’t resist checking out the latest horror outing from Zack Cregger, and did it meet expectations? At least for some of us, this was an endlessly fun horror romp, with a surprising number of laughs to boot! Check out the episode for our review! PLUS we have a handful of new trailers - continuing on in old hollywood with THE FURTHER MIS-ADVENTURES OF CLIFF BOOTH, getting into even weirder territory with Nathan Fielder in the much buzzed-about documentary YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING, and our very first look at Brad Bird’s passion project animation, RAY GUNN! And, of course, what we’re into with games like GTA V and the much maligned WOLVERINE (is it really that bad?). Then Ed catches up on WIDOWS BAY, TONY, and sheds some light on a classic. All that and more! Tune in to find out and join us weekly for new episodes, where you can find them wherever you get your podcasts, also on Youtube. Don’t forget to like and subscribe, follow us on social media, and feel free to leave us the occasional comments, we want to know your thoughts!

Episode #225
Our Summer Movie Wager 2026 has come to a close, but who wins the championship belt? Yes, summer is over and that means our Summer Movie Wager comes to an end, and what a roller coaster of a summer it was. Where we counted on the usual franchise slop to win big at the box office, we actually saw independent, original films take the gold instead. The likes of Obsession and Backrooms beating out The Mandalorian and Grogu and Moana caught us all by surprise, though a welcome one to be sure. It’s certainly gratifying to see audiences lean toward original and ambitious filmmaking, although it certainly had its impact on our predictions. We must have each been at number one at some point this summer, and each at the bottom too. In the end Spider-Man: Brand New Day was the winner of the box office, breaking records left and right. So who does that leave as the winner of the wager? Tune in to find out and join us weekly for new episodes, where you can find them wherever you get your podcasts, also on Youtube. Episode #224
We’ve got a shorter episode this week, with special guest Erik Jue joining us for a quick conversation about tech, movies, and games. We kick things off with our Feature Discussion covering the latest Apple Event and the new iPhone Duo. We break down Apple’s big reveal, our first impressions of the Duo, what stood out from the event, and whether Apple’s newest iPhone has us ready for an upgrade. Then in What We’re Into, we talk Tony , the new Anthony Bourdain movie, and The Big Walk , the co-op video game that’s been bringing us together for some multiplayer fun. Like what you hear? Hit that like button, subscribe so you don’t miss the next one, and if you’re listening on your favorite podcast app, drop us a 5-star review. It helps the show more than you know — and it makes us look way more important than we actually are.

Episode #223
This week, we’re kicking things off with one of the biggest games on the horizon as we break down the exclusive first look at GTA 6 on Netflix . We talk about what stood out, what we’re expecting from the game, and why the next chapter of Grand Theft Auto has everyone paying attention. Then it’s time for Trailer Talk , with a packed lineup including HBO’s Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone , INK , Fjord , East of Eden , and La Bola Negra . We break down the trailers, the ones that caught our attention, and what we’re looking forward to most. In Let’s Talk About This Now , we get into Ridley Scott’s recent remarks about Alien: Romulus and his thoughts on the film, before turning our attention to Paul Mescal and the conversation surrounding his performance in Gladiator 2 . And finally, in What We’re Into , we talk about The Drama , Coyote vs. Acme , Tony , and Widow’s Bay — the movies and shows currently taking up our time.
