Public Speaking Trains You for Success and Confidence (Part 1) | Ep 436
Aug 24, 202610 min
Public speaking is the ultimate high performance training, that will shape you into a leader before you even realize it. Sharpening my skills on stage has transformed every part of my life and business. Here are the top 7 skills I’ve learned as I gained experience improving my public speaking skills. Stepping onto a stage takes serious courage, but what you gain in return is worth far more than a moment of nerves. Whether you want to be seen, heard, or get paid for your expertise, public speaking is the key to unlocking confidence and visibility. Here's what you'll learn: Confidence doesn't show up until you've logged real stage time, which means every awkward first attempt is doing more for you than you realize. You learn to organize a scattered thought into something clear and simple, before you ever have to pitch a client or navigate a hard conversation. Watching a great storyteller drop you straight into the middle of a moment shows you exactly why backstory kills the momentum a story needs to hook a room. >>>Book a Speaker Success Call at https://speakandstandout.com/speaker-success Experts Edge newsletter delivered right to you inbox: https://speakandstandout.com/bid-newsletter Connect with me on: LinkedIN : https://www.linkedin.com/in/laurie-ann-murabito Instagram: @laurieann.murabito Visit my website for more advice and tips Thank you for listening, LA

How to Stop People From Interrupting You (In Meetings and On Stage) | Ep 435
Aug 17, 202611 min
If you keep getting interrupted in meetings, the real reason isn't rudeness, it's anxiety, and it's fixable with one shift in how you talk. This episode breaks down why people cut you off in meetings, on sales calls, and even from the audience when you're on stage, and it's never about you. You'll get two different playbooks, one for speaking from the stage and one for corporate settings, so you know exactly how to pace a room and keep control of your spotlight time. Here's what you'll learn: The real reason people interrupt you in meetings and on stage, and why it comes down to anxiety instead of rudeness. Where to put your three-point structure when you're speaking from a stage, before you ever open with an agenda. How to move your Q&A ahead of your closing, which means a random question never gets the last word on your talk. The exact phrase to open a corporate status update, so next time nobody's waiting for a gap to jump in. How to reclaim the room with one line before you wrap up, and exactly why it works even when you're short on time. Pace the room, and the interruptions stop finding a way in. >>>Book an Executive Presence Audit at https://speakandstandout.com/executive-presence Experts Edge newsletter delivered right to you inbox: https://speakandstandout.com/bid-newsletter Connect with me on: LinkedIN : https://www.linkedin.com/in/laurie-ann-murabito Instagram: @laurieann.murabito Visit my website for more advice and tips Thank you for listening, LA

BONUS: Danny Goldberg on Boundaries, Assertiveness, and Ditching People Pleasing
Aug 13, 202630 min
Being nice and being a pushover are not the same thing, and only one of them gets you respected. Danny Goldberg wrote the book on this, literally. He's the author of "A Little Bit of A$$hole," and he joins the show to talk about the fine line between people pleasing and having real boundaries, and why the leaders who get remembered are the ones who know the difference. Here's what you'll learn: The gut-check question that tells you it's time to stop people-pleasing, before resentment builds. Why pushing harder when someone stalls backfires, and exactly what to do instead. The real difference between confidence and being a jerk, which means you can stand firm and still be liked. Why companies hire resumes and fire personalities, and why that's exactly backwards for building a team. The one thing you should never do at the end of a talk or a hard conversation, so next time you leave people with your strongest point instead of a shrug. Boundaries don't make you a jerk. They make you someone people respect. If you needed permission to stop over-explaining every no, this is it. Grab Danny's book, "A Little Bit of A$$hole," at littlebitahole.com . Storytelling: Show Them Your Credibility Without Telling Them | Ep 434
Aug 10, 202613 min
Your credibility doesn't come from your resume, it comes from your stories. Most people skip their authority section because bragging about themselves feels uncomfortable, so they either read off a boring list of credentials or skip it entirely. Neither one gets you remembered. This episode breaks down exactly how storytelling does the job your resume never could. Here's what you'll learn: The three types of stories that build instant credibility, and why each one lands differently with your audience. How to structure your authority section, without turning it into a boring resume. Why a client's transformation story works harder than your own credentials, the moment you let someone else's win speak for you. What makes a transformation story actually resonate, which means your audience can picture their own point A to point B. The homework exercise from episode 333, so next time you write a speech, you already have your best stories written down. You're full of stories. You just haven't given yourself credit for them yet. >>> Book an Executive Presence Audit at https://speakandstandout.com/executive-presence >>> Experts Edge newsletter delivered right to you inbox: https://speakandstandout.com/bid-newsletter Connect with me on: LinkedIN : https://www.linkedin.com/in/laurie-ann-murabito Instagram: @laurieann.murabito Visit my website for more advice and tips Thank you for listening, LA

Unforgettable Speakers and Teachers: Lessons from my College Chemistry Proff | Ep 433
Aug 3, 20267 min
A great teacher can make even the most boring subject feel unforgettable. Can you imagine sitting through three hours of college chemistry and actually loving it? That's what happens when the right person stands at the front of the room. Discover how one teacher’s passion and energy changed everything for his students, and why that memory still matters decades later. Most people just lecture and lose their audience, but it doesn’t have to be that way. Learn why storytelling, movement, and genuine excitement have the power to keep people on the edge of their seats, whether you’re leading a meeting or speaking on stage. Here’s what you’ll learn: How to transform dull topics into engaging experiences, so you stand out and capture attention in any setting. The secret power of using metaphors and analogies, so your audience remembers your message for years. Why passion and presence matter more than being an expert, so you connect and motivate even the toughest crowd. Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
