The second half of your century
The second half of your century Coming down off the mountain, your smile at my side Right where it’s been since we started our family ride A good deal of your first half, but I wonder what will theadventure be As we celebrate the beginning of the second half of yourcentury Sharing special days together replaces the idea ofexchanging gifts In fact any time spent with friends and family provides muchneeded lifts The less planning yields the best results, our sweetestmemories are extempore Cause with Daddio, you never know let’s roll with the secondhalf of your century Playing with the littles ones, climb back in time climbingdown onto the floor Tossing bean bags laughing at the game, we were the winners, never mind the score A ripping good time as always, delivered with panache in a mannerso exemplary Cut the cake, blow out the candles and let’s usher in thesecond half of your century Happy Birthday Jessey!
