気象学者モテサクが日々学んだことを共有します。モテサクの自己紹介海洋研究開発機構という国立の研究所で、気象学・海洋学の研究員として、公務員相当の月給を頂いて働いている48歳です。具体的には、国際的観測プロジェクトの企画・実施、地球環境データの数値解析・論文執筆・書籍執筆・講演活動・出前授業を行っております。公益社団法人・日本気象学会では、論文の編集委員として、英語・日本語の文章校正や文献のバージョン管理を行っています。趣味は、「走りの学校」という一般社団法人で、短距離スプリントを学び、トレーニングを実践する事です。ずっとデスクワークばかりで腰痛があったりとにかく運動不足で、なおかつ昔から短距離走に苦手意識があったので、2020年5月から敢えて挑戦しています。50mのタイムが2020.5.1:8.5秒から2020.10.17:6.8秒にまで縮まり、完全にハマっています。2020年7月から、中学生以来30年ぶりに軟式の草野球にも再挑戦しています。高校・大学は、バスケットボールをやっていました。下戸ですが、飲み会がめちゃくちゃ好きです。朝までジンジャーエールだけで楽しくイケます。なんなら、それが一番の特技かもしれません。
