Michelle took her kids on an amazing bike tour with Kyoto Bike Tours. They cater tours specifically to families, ensuring the kids have an amazing and memorable time riding through the rice fields, feeding the monkeys, and walking through the Bamboo Forest. After running around Tokyo, a welcome first stop in Kyoto was Roku Kyoto, where she and her kids had an amazing five star visit and enjoyed gorgeous scenery, a phemoninal breakfast buffet, a relaxing thermal pool and a beautiful Japanese garden. This is such a great find and part of the Hilton brand, so you can use your rewards points to enjoy this one of a kind stay near the Golden Temple! After spending a few days relaxing outside the center of Kyoto and want to stay somewhere closer to the center of the city or you're traveling to Osaka or Tokyo and looking for a fun place to stay for families with very spacious accommodations, Mimaru is where you need to be! This apartment hotel can accommodate small to multi - generational families traveling together. Some of the suites have washer/dryers in the unit and also have full kitchens with long tables for sharing meals together. Michelle also loved the luggage transport service so she can send her luggage from Kyoto to Osaka without lugging it through the train stations with her kids. A huge win was the Pokémon themed room in Osaka!

Segment one is a sneak peak into the bike tour they did with Kyoto Bike Tour, which she and her kids, ages 7 and 9, loved!!! They explored on a bike down safe streets and saw rice fields, a bamboo forest, and monkeys! This is the only bike tour company she found that specifically had a family tour, catered to young children. Looking for a last minute getaway?
