Park Right Here is an informational—and hopefully entertaining—podcast about Parkinson’s disease, shared through my lived experience walking this journey. But this podcast is about more than Parkinson’s. My desire is to offer hope, honest conversation, and connection to people with Parkinson’s (PWPs), care partners, family members, friends, medical professionals, therapists, faith leaders, neighbors, and anyone who wants to better support those living with PD. You are not alone. Through personal stories—sometimes funny, sometimes difficult, sometimes deeply moving—I share what this journey has taught me. I talk openly about diagnosis, self-advocacy, building a care team, medications (at a high level), movement disorder specialists, exercise, mental health, research, nutrition, supplements (the good and the bad), support groups, social media support, and the day-to-day realities of living with Parkinson’s.
